« A warm welcome from Luc & Hilda, we were given a large, nicely decorated modern room with very comfy bed and the shower room & toilet were to the same high standard. Very nice breakfast served by Luc and his friendly team, it was autumn when we visited so it can be cool at night in South Africa, the bed’s electric blankets made them warm and cosy, the open log fire in the breakfast room was very nice in the morning and the log burner in the lounge was equally as inviting in the evening. « En effet, cela ressemble plus un à camping avec bungalows qu'à un hôtel à proprement parler. Les dits bungalows doivent dater des années 60 et ne vendent pas du rêve. C'est sale et moche ! Dommage d'être en Afrique du Sud pour réserver dans ce type d'établissement. Préférer des guest housse... :-) »

Large attractive gardens, nice touches like the extra padded seats for our outside seats and fresh fruit from the farm at breakfast. « The property itself is so elegant and stylish with unimpeded views across to the mountains. The deck, pool and gardens are peaceful and full of beautiful sculptures. Our room, Room 4 was spacious, light and airy with a secluded private deck. A gorgeous place to stay within an easy walk to town with all its historic homes. But best of all were the delightful hosts, such warmth and so friendly and genuinely wanting to help in anyway and ensure you have the most comfortable stay. Great breakfast. »
