Très (trop ?) grand appart, avec 2 chambres impeccables et personnel très réactif Un peu excentré, mais arret de bus proche Bien équipé, qqs points à améliorer: chaine hifi hors d'usage et manquerait qqs verres mais ça n'empeche pas de passer un très bon séjour

The location was great! We were close to the Colosseum and a bit further, but very walkable, distance to the Pantheon. It is a very quiet and comfortable apartment.

The property was well located , spotlessly clean and communication with the agent was good . My issues with the property was that quite a number of the electrical sockets don’t work and , for me , the kitchen was not well equipped. I stayed for 2 weeks. Some examples there were very few glasses, a very odd assortment of pots and pans, no cork screw . In my view this apartment needs an electrical update and a thorough inventory check in the kitchen .

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was one of favourites during our trip. Communication with Filippo was always prompt, and he met us on time at check-in. The apartment is as shown, and it is quite spacious and comfortable. It needs a few minor improvements and repairs (faulty outlets, a couple of loose floorboards), but it was very clean on arrival. The power did go out in the unit when we were there because we overloaded the kitchen circuit, but Filippo quickly walked us through how to fix it over the phone. We would definitely stay here again as it is a great location near the Colosseum.

Nice place. Good location. Kitchen had all items we needed to cook. This counts for a lot in our book. Also enjoyed 19th century lift and general aesthetic of flat (with high ceilings etc from the era of construction).

Charming Italian Vibes

Location was fine, however, knowing what I know now I would prefer to stay on the other side of the Colosseum closer to the metro and to other sites we wanted to visit. The apartment itself was absolutely charming however there is a couc that’s absolutely useless as it is broken and you sink in also the window coverings need some attention. The other thing that was absolutely frustrating, is that the light stopped working in the hallway and the second bedroom/bathroom on the second day of our visit and were not repaired during our stay we were instructed to change the lightbulbs which was kind of annoying because it was obviously an entire side of the house that did not have working lights.

Great Rome apartment

Location was fantastic. Easy to get to everything. Just outside city center so the pace was slower and not crowded. Apartment has everything you need. Comfortable, spacious, all the amenities included.Marta, the property manager was quickly responsive and had all the answers.Highly recommend this apartment when visiting Rome.

Die Wohnung ist liebevoll mit mehreren antiken Möbeln eingerichtet. Die Wohnung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem die Duschen, aber wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt.

Great Stay

Very spacious apartment. Great location. 5th floor but elevator available. Secure. Great restaurants nearby. Plenty of smaller stores to buy provisions but a grocery store was quite a distance away. Had difficulty with the bathroom sink faucet- could not turn off the hot water faucet once it was on. Reported to Marta when we checked out. Marta was very responsive to all questions. Helped tremendously when I needed a copy of my passport to gain entrance into the Colosseum. Received within 1 minute. All other questions asked prior to booking and during stay were answered quickly.

Mixed feeling

Location is very convenient and the apartment is spacious. However, the amenities description is misleading. Property has two bedrooms and a main hall. The main hall has an AC but the other AC is in the passage way and NOT in any of the bedrooms. That and the configuration of one of the bedrooms made one bedroom entirely unusable. One of the couches in the main room is trash and could injure guests. One of the chairs was broken. We could not use one of the bathrooms as water will splash out. We were charged late check-in fee when due to holiday, we could not get taxi from railway station. Overall, ok in terms of location but priced too expensive for the quality of amenities.

Lovely but could use some care

I loved having the space for our recent Rome holiday It was close to the Colosseum and our daughter’s study abroad school. The styling of the home with a variety of art work, various antique pieces, and the library of Italian books was lovely. The home was generally clean - but the maintenance & comfort touches could use some help. There were at least 6 light bulbs that were out or not working around the house. My husband was the only one in the family who could turn the hot water valve in the 2nd bathroom sink off, otherwise it would still be on. We all ended up using the shower in the 2nd bathroom because the one in the primary wouldn’t stay hot. The AC for the bedrooms is in the hall, meaning you have to keep doors open to sleep and the rooms still get hot without fans. Be sure to close the exterior shutters to keep the heat out. The AC in the main room works really well. The WiFi doesn’t extend into the back bedroom. While the home has a dishwasher, we didn’t receive dishwater soap or any kitchen towels. They did have laundry soap which was appreciated. The one sample packet of soap for a 6 night stay meant we had to go buy shampoo and body wash. And the primary bedroom by US standards is a queen, not the king as advertised (which was honestly one of the features we used to select the home.). The couch in the main room is broken down so it’s like sitting on the floor. Being an STR owner, I can tell you it wouldn’t take much investment to make this a 5/5vacation rental.

Perfect Rental for Family Trip

We had a wonderful stay at the Charme Holidays rental. The location was perfect, kitchen is well equipped, and beds are comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone traveling as a family!

Perfection! Great neighborhood and beautiful.

There was so much space and it was such a beautiful apartment. Marta was an amazing communicator and made it very easy to check in and she was always available through the WhatsApp and answered my many questions. The neighborhood was so charming and plenty of restaurants and convenient stores within 5 minutes walking. The Colosseum is right down the road so the convenience of the Metro was such a plus. The beds were super comfortable and the AC was nice. We did have a little trouble with the master shower because being Americans it was different than ours at home. The water didn’t stay warm for long but the other shower worked fabulously so we were totally okay! Loved loved this apartment.

Great place to stay

This apartment is on 5th floor BUT has an elevator! Bedrooms and bathrooms are nice sized. Quiet area and just down the street from the Colosseum. Marta, the host's assistant, was fantastic! Very responsive and helped to get us a driver to Vatican and airport.

Colosseum Charme Holidays was incredible! It was everything we could have ever dreamed of. The location was absolutely amazing as it was about a 3 minute walk to the colosseum. The place itself was charming, beds were comfortable, place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped! And I can’t say enough wonderful things about Marta, our check in host. Excellent location near Colosseum

This was a good choice for us, two couples, staying very close to the Colloseum and Forum. Access is good to the Metro, the place is very clean and spacious, and accessing it was simple and straightforward. I would recommend this location to others.
