Location! Location! Location!
…on top of that, a very well-run operation by Edoardo Gallo and his team! We stayed at Edoardo’s Spagna Apartment in the Summer. We were lucky to book with him for 3 out of our 4 nights in Rome.Edoardo was a gracious host. He arranged a transfer from the airport which was well-received by our family after our over-seas flight. Upon arrival, he met us at the apartment and gave us a tour. It was clean, well-appointed, well-maintained, and air-conditioned! He also prepared a binder full of instructions for the appliances in the apartment and a generous list of recommended restaurants. Edoardo was available by text or phone if we had any questions, with a quick response time. He was very easy to communicate with and his English is very good.The building has a dramatic grand entrance with its elegant wooden doors, decorative ironwork, expansive ceiling, beautiful marble stairwell, a charming elevator, and a concierge.The street of the apartment is part of a very lively neighborhood in the historic district. Within walking distance to- The Spanish Steps and other tourist attractions, prime high-end shopping, smaller shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and many spots for souvenirs.We enjoyed several lovely restaurant meals from Edoardo’s list and also enjoyed cooking our own meals in the Spagna kitchen.Highly recommend! Our stay was comfortable and spacious for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer!
