Location is fantastic and the host is responsive, even arranged an early check in at the last minute. The house itself is a gem; great neighborhood and space within. However, I had to give a low rating for two reasons: Cleanliness issues and the generally run down condition/deferred maintenance inside. A thorough deep clean is needed, including carpets/unholstery,as well as appliances. Replace the missing flooring and cracked tiles in the hall bath! Get some drapery panels that cover the entire sliding door in the primary bedroom...no privacy! Treat the shower mold! The trash bins were overflowing from previous guests. The list goes on. I communicated with the owner, (who uses a management company, Evolve) and sent some pictures. She is not local, so I assume she has not been aware of the deterioration of the property, but responsive to the cleanliness issues I identified. Could be the management company is not doing its job. This could be a 5 star home with some TLC and a refresh!
