The property was nice, but I had to call for two days in a row to get my room cleaned. The first day when I called at 4pm, I was asked if I had the do not disturb sign on my door. I said no, I didn't put the sign on the door. I thought that question was out of line. They simply missed my room and did not apologize for the question or them missing the room only that they would talk to the house cleaning manager. Luckily, 40 minutes later they sent someone up to clean the room. The second day I called, my family and I left the room at 9:15 only to return around 3 pm and once again the room has not been cleaned. So, once again I called housekeeping and the gentleman that answered the phone this time, apologized and said he would send someone up immediately. Someone did arrive and clean the room. The fact that my room was missed twice is inexcusable. I frequent Marriott often and have never had an experience like this.
