« While still being relatively close to the center of Montecito and not far from downtown Santa Barbara, the cottage was quiet and very private. Parking is also a breeze. I have a large truck that can be hard to park in other places I've stayed in SB. No issues here with parking always available right in front of the cottage. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Pat was very quick to respond to questions. We'll definitely stay here again if we are in town. »

« This is our second time to stay at this property. The location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes away is a little grocery store that has everything you need. And every evening a taco truck is parked there. The cottage is so cute, spotless and is well equipped. We love sitting on the front patio enjoying drinks and a meal. The street is so quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to end a busy day. We are already planning our next Santa Barbara get away at Costa Vida Cottage. »

« Met up with gal friend for long weekend of wine tasting, spa massage and strolling in sunshine of lovely Solvang. Cottage is clean, comfortable and has large kitchen, living room and outdoor space to watch sunset behind hills above Santa Barbara. Street parking was easy and we walked everywhere for rest of the weekend- restaurants, shopping, coffee/pastry, wine tasting on outdoor patios ideal for people watching. Definitely recommend. »

« This is the best short term rental that we have stayed in yet! Very relaxing Santa Ynez ranch location, quiet and peaceful! The hosts were wonderful to work with and attentive to our stay. Enjoyed watching the local farmers tend the vineyards right outside the doors of "The Cottage", watching the ducks swim around the pond, and friendly greetings from the owners dogs. The place was exceptionally clean and the furnishings comfortable. Perfect getaway place from the hustle and bustle of the city. »

« This was a first for us, to stay on a farm. We always go to the coast. What a fabulous change of pace! The farmhouse is charming and very comfortable. It is so much fun feeding the chickens, geese, and turkeys that roam all around freely. And the African tortoise is huge. Kris, the host is wonderful and friendly. Will we stay here again? In a heartbeat. And we will recommend this wonderful home to our friends. »

Not only was it as advertised it was even better - great and comfy bed, walking distance to everything on State Street, easy parking, fluffy towels and bath amenities like toothbrushes, slippers, eye masks and makeup remover. Many nice places to visit within an hours drive or so. Easy to get to wine country. Dino and his wife are fantastic hosts. »
