Great, but lacked communication

While we arrived and unloading the vehicle, there was a transmitter that must have been hit or something. All the wires were exposed. I sent a picture of it along with my concerns of it being a very dangerous situation with exposed electrical wires. Never heard back from the phone number. Then even sent an email and no response back either. We stayed away from that the rest of the trip, but was a consistent hazard and couldn’t really get past the danger of that. Other than that, the house was clean and location is great. Thanks for a great place to stay.

Gorgeous property, great for families

We loved our stay in this property. The house itself is gorgeous with a wonderful amount of space. We had 5 adults and 4 teenagers and had more than enough space for all of us. The location was terrific - just a short, easy walk to the beach, and the buggy was a nice bonus. The bedrooms were spacious and well-appointed, the beds comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, although a few more basic cooking staples (eg wooden spoons) would be helpful.The only downside we encountered were the appliances. The washer and dryer were old and inefficient (considering most occupants will need to wash bathing suits a machine with a "delicates cycle" is essential), not to mention very loud. The dishwasher also needs to be updated, we had to wash each load twice because it never washed properly (or at all) the first time. Also the toaster was broken and needs to be replaced. Otherwise we had a lovely stay in a really lovely home. Thank you!

This property was just ok it not really a Senior citizen place furniture not comfortable or easy to get up off for seniors kitchen was not equipped for our kind of cooking we had to buy pots and pans their was sand in beds

Santa Rosa Beach house

Overall the home was ok. Laid out fairly well and met our needs. Had issues with checking in codes to the house and community pool. There is black mold beginning to build up on the white chairs on the back porch as well as the railing on the front porch. There were also several roaches both in the kitchen and in the laundry room upstairs! Gold cart was a nice perk!

Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay. We were close to the beach and community pool. Felt very much like home with the exception of the oven not working after buying tons of groceries.

Overall good

Family trip of 5 days and house was beautiful and comfy. When we got there before check in, trash was piled up to the top of trash and assumed it would be picked up throughout our stay. That never happened and that old trash smell made it uncomfortable to stay outside and filled the house up with flies. I contacted them about it and for the WiFi because none of the tvs connected and they never got back to me. We wanted to go to the pool that was advertised on here but didn’t bother asking due to them never responding. Was a little let down but it is what it is.

Gorgeous beach, clean and well-stocked home

First of all, we had a wonderful stay--the house is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very clean. It had an abundance of dishes and towels and all of the kitchen appliances we needed. (The only thing one might want to bring is extra blankets if you're coming in cooler months--the linens are summer weight and there were no extras.) The beach is not as crowded as other 30a beaches, and is gorgeous. We had small children with us, so the walks from the house to the beach and the pool were a bit long (each .8 miles from the house in opposite directions--the nearest pool entrance was closed due to construction). This would not have been as much of an issue if the golf cart advertised as a main feature of the house had been in working order. The golf cart was broken on our arrival, and it was not fixed or replaced for our entire stay. The management company said that we would have to wait up to 14 days to see if we could be compensated for renting a different cart (which we were expected to do on our own). From booking the property to check out, I received over 20 emails (a bit overwhelming) from Beachwalk vacations property management with various contracts, instructions, reminders to obey community rules, etc., but when it came to helping us solve the issue of the broken golf cart, they would not reply to messages, and were not able offer helpful answers over the phone. It's unfortunate that this situation soured our experience at an otherwise wonderful rental.

Amazing location!

This property is in a perfect location - close to beach and community pool. We loved how much space we had even with 10 people. The dining room table was big enough for meals and epic boardgame nights. The beds were comfy and clean. Some issues we had were around the appliances - fridge door would not close and clothes dryer was not functional. The dishwasher was low-end and could not dissolve a dishwasher soap pack provided so we had to hand wash with only one dish towel and no dryer. The house is beautiful and new, but the appliances leave a lot to be desired. The back porch was nice but needed power washed. Overall it was a great stay and we’d come back if some things were addressed!

Happy Place on 30A

This home was in a great location and neighborhood. The pool was so pretty and close. The beach was just a quick ride down the street, 8 minute walk. The home had plenty of room for people to spread out.

Beautiful house

House fit our large group perfectly. Decorated beautifully and had everything we needed including an ice maker. The 6 person golf cart was a great added bonus.

Do not book with BeachWalk Vacations

The house was great, minus the fact that they advertise having a 6 seater golf cart as part of the header for the house. The golf cart was undriveable and not able to be fixed in time for us to use during our stay. BeachWalk Vacations did not have a resolution for us, but rather, encouraged us to find/rent our own golf cart and they would refund me "a percentage" of the costs. I found a bargain for the Seaside area ($200/day) and my total cost was $638 for 3 days. We were told we would only receive a 50% refund, even though we went a full 2 days without having a golf cart. Had we rented a golf cart upon arrival, it would have been over $1000. The manager refused to communicate with me and I only received 2 messages restating I would only be given a 50% refund. I feel bad for the homeowner because they have hired a property management company that will ultimately hurt their ability to effectively rent their home.

Last Minute Family trip

The property was perfect for our very large family traveling on a last minute get up and go. It was exactly what we needed and the location was perfect. The communication with the management team was on point. They even called when we left a very personal item and were able to retrieve it. We are saving them as a favorite for future rentals.
