Welcome to Bowman's Place (previously Beach House), a luxurious, beachfront home located in Seaside, FL! You may recognize ‘Bowman's Place’, as it has been featured in notable publications such as ‘Southern Accents’, ‘Second Home’, ‘Colorado Home’, and in a special edition by Southern Accents featuring the “10 Most Beautiful Bedrooms.” It was also featured on the Discovery Travel Channel series, “Great Vacation Homes,” and on the HGTV series, “Homes Across America.” Enough said!
Guests can make their way to an arched front entryway that peacefully leads into this finely appointed home. An enchanting, winding stairway and foyer area welcome you into the first story, as well as a spacious king primary suite on the first floor with a private bathroom, an expansive sleeping porch, and an indoor, open-air shower. This enclosed screened spacious porch features two bed swings and two club chairs, and privacy curtains and is surrounded by lush tropical dunes. This space is one of the many gems of this beach palace. No sound machine is required in the primary suite, as the sound of the gulf blesses your ears at bedtime. Two additional queen bedrooms reside on the first story, both featuring full baths and one with its own private, screened porch that faces a peaceful footpath with comfortable seating for two- a delightful spot to enjoy morning coffee. This level of the home also includes a bonus queen sleeping nook across from the first-story full bath next to the primary suite.
An aesthetic spiral staircase leads guests to an inviting second story offering an expansive open floor plan for an open combined living, dining, and kitchen. The living area features a large sectional, a large mounted flat screen TV with Sonos soundbar, and a fireplace. Stunning gulf views are enjoyed from the living area. Adjacent to the living area are two custom, built-in desks perfect for working remotely if you can look away from your gulf views! Adjacent to the living room is the large beachfront open-air porch.
This expansive open-air porch features outdoor dining for six and chaise lounges for three more. From your private beachfront porch, you can experience breathtaking 360-degree panoramic Gulf views and stunning sunsets. Adjacent to the large open living room is a dining area for six surrounded by large windows and an additional bistro area for two more.
The blueprint continues, as this level also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner Wolf gas stove, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Miele dishwasher, and a separate bar area as well as a half bath for your convenience. * 5 NT minimum remaining nights Summer 2026. Sat to Sat 7NT minimum Summer, 5 NT Summer, Spring & Spring Break mins; 3NT Fall mins; 2NT Winter mins. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration.
* Pets are allowed with certain restrictions and provisions. An additional $100 per day rental pet fee will be collected in addition to the flat $150 pet fee for three-bedroom homes. Pets will not be allowed on furniture. No pet over 70 lbs.

Overall excellent stay. 99% of everything was as expected. There were a few minor annoyances like broken rollers on a couple of chairs and funky TV controls, but definitely not enough to outweigh all the other outstanding features. Living downstairs, entertaining upstairs. Small and cozy, but not cramped. Excellent proximity to beach. Midway between Seaside and Watercolor. Near perfect!

The location is stunning and the space quite zen (in tune with the landscape not filled with any beachy cliches). There were a few items needed and a few parts of the home would benefit from a deeper clean/ refresh but all of this is being addressed!! We would rent again without hesitation!

Location, location, location!
This home is located right next to the walkway that leads to the beach, making it so easy for people who go back and forth to the beach all day long! It is also just a short walk to the Seaside square which our teens frequented every night. The property management company provided several thoughtful extras and was excellent with communication. If your looking to be right in the mix of everything on 30A, look no farther!

Our family has returned to seaside many times and this time we wanted to be right on the beach. So this was the best choice for waterfront vacation. The rooms fit our group, we enjoyed eating our meals on the deck. Just plan to bring a few essentials, paper towels, dish towels, trash bags, coffee filters,, salt and pepper

This is our third year traveling to the beautiful beaches on 30A and our first year renting a house. The house was absolutely amazing. On arrival we were welcomed with a gift bag cooler, towels, and wine to enjoy from the local market! The home was exactly as portrayed on the website and very clean. It is in the PERFECT location in Seaside, close enough to walk to town using the private walkway and right next to a pier leading to the beach. We had a wonderful time here and can't wait to return!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving in Seaside

We rented Beach House for Thanksgiving. The house has a beautiful beach view and is right next to the dune walkover for easy access to the beach. The house is spacious and well equipped. The only things the kitchen lacked was a meat thermometer and potato masher, but we were aware of that and were prepared. The only other problems we had were that most of the windows didn’t open and the fireplace remote needed batteries.

The rental had no wine glasses, minimal silverware, and the outdoor patio rug was so filthy with stains, we had to have it professionally cleaned. Additionally, the dishwasher wash broken most of our stay. The outdoor curtains were literally green with mildew, which ruined the patio experience.The management was responsive and got carpet cleaners there the day after we arrived, which helped enormously. When we relayed how scarce the kitchen was, management also dropped off some flatware, but we had to buy wine glasses, napkins and placemats to eat at home.It is a beautiful home, but not well maintained. Management was helpful, but having to call every day over issues was draining.Location is excellent, but the headaches left a bad taste for our future interest.

Property manager was awful
The property manager was a local group. You would think that being local they would have good partnerships. We couldnt get beach chairs or umbrellas with who they advertised with. When we finally did reach the m they could care less. No mind you this was a private beach and the chair company had to used to get close to water. When they finally did get some chairs the broke with in the hour.
THe management company also was not prepared when it
gym access. Each person had to have their own card. Cards were not ready at check in and the office blew it off as someone at the gym should have been there to let them.
Finding the Garbage cans was a joke.
The AC was hard set at a certain temperature but that does no good when their is no way to block the sun.
The house had the best view. My issues are with the management company, I would not stay there with the management company that runs this place

Came for a Weds-Sunday for a quiet weekend before the holidays. It was not. We asked beforehand about any construction in the area with no response but made the res anyway. If you’re familiar with Seaside you know the homes are very close together and unfortunately the home right behind us was repairing, repainting, power spraying and then had a huge party Friday night. When I asked at check in, the rep said I should have received a “construction map”at booking. I did not. They said they were unaware of this project or the one on the other side 2 houses over. Chose this house for the architecture and it is great BUT it needs loads of love inside and out. It is so tired that it comes off as dirty (the half bath actually was dirty). I’ve renovated old/historic homes for 25 yrs and this one looks like no one cares. The guest queen bed squeaks so bad it wakes you up. Tiny guest rooms/baths. ALL appliances very old. Mold in decorative arched screens above stairs, basic kitchen supplies. Windows and blinds dirty. Pros- welcome bag/towels/wine. master bed comfy. Clean linens. Great views. Great walking location. Fireplace. The management was responsive and polite, but not necessarily helpful. I understand that some things can’t be predicted-it is busy Seaside after all, but for the money, rent a different place until this one is renovated.
