  • This beautifully constructed airbnb was designed just for your getaway. A long front porch lined with white rocking chairs (even a few tiny chairs for your little ones) will host you on summer evenings as you watch the sunset over the pond and the fireflies dance around in the moonlight.

    Winter evenings are warmed up with a grand, central fireplace. Central air conditioning for the hot summer days. You can share meals and game nights around the family sized dining table. Snuggle up on the couch with cozy blankets and enjoy a movie night.

Wonderful Home

We were attending a family wedding in the area and it was just perfect for 6 people. A very relaxing stay. Especially enjoyed morning coffee on the porch.

We recently visited family in Sarver. We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, exactly as pictured and just cute. We arrived to homemade cookies that were super yummy! We truly appreciated the hospitality! We would definitely stay at this property again.

The host was very helpful and friendly. They left home made cookies when we checked in, and when I had a minor question, they responded quickly. The Barn was a great place to stay, very comfortable and roomy, with a great yard for the dog, and a quiet neighborhood nearby to walk the dog safely. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was wonderful. So clean, plenty of towels provided. Homemade cookies waiting for us on the kitchen table when we first arrived. Large kitchen and well stocked with everything you would need ( but bring your own food). Nice spacious seating area with 3 large couches. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and clean. Love the way it was decorated and a fun scavenger hunt game to play while there. We loved sitting out on the porch in the mornings and the evenings. Contacted host with a couple questions and received a reply quickly. Easy check in process. Overall great property!

Lovely

We had a great time in Sarver visiting family. This property is very nice- spacious, clean & comfortable. Rooms upstairs have openings above the doors so bring fans/white noise machines to drown out the sounds of night owls & early risers.

Home away from home

We rented the barn for an entire week and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We pulled in on a Friday evening after a 13 hour drive and we were greeted by fireflies, a rainbow, delicious cookies and even goodie bags for our grandchildren and dogs. The house was well stocked and spotlessly clean. We can’t wait to return.

A pleasant surprise!

The barn was exactly as shown but the extras were the surprise! Such a unique and relaxing place to stay with plenty of room for 6 adults and a dog. We found everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable and the cookies Barb left us were delicious. A perfect host and a perfect place for our stay to visit with friends and family in the area. We highly recommend!!

This "barn" home was absolutely beautiful? Every detail and every possible need were readily met or available upon arrival! This was the perfect location and home for our family to travel and meet to enjoy my daughter's wedding only 6 mins. down the road! There was plenty of room for everyone (6 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs) to comfortably get ready, enjoy breakfasts together, and when needed to just relax!

Fantastic Accomidations

Without a doubt, one of the best VRBO stays we've had over the years. We are three guys who travel around the country to play golf and volunteer at golf tournaments. We were in town to work the US Open at Oakmont and were fortunate to find these accommodations on VRBO. We LOVED the location, and the Barn was perfect. Thank you, Barb, the cookies and muffins were exceptional. If we ever return to Western PA, we will certainly try to rebook this beautiful and exceptionally well-supplied lodging.

Exceptional!

The Bearcreek Barn is outstanding. 6 family members were in town for a weekend of ballgames at PNC Park. We were not disappointed with Bearcreek Barn in any way. It is well appointed and equipped, is clean and very comfortable and has all amenities for a great stay. Barb is a super host. We have only booked 5 star VRBOs over many years and this was among the very, very best!!!

Amazing Property

I was absolutely amazed that a property as well appointed and in such an idyllic location was available in Sarver. A quick 15 minute drive to Tarentum it was the perfect place to stay while visiting family. The quaint country road is resides on was quiet and convenient to local restaurants and shopping. This ranks in the top three VRBOs I’ve stayed at. The plateful of home made chocolate chip cookies that were waiting for us were to die for! We’re so glad we opted for this place over three hotel rooms.

Amazing stay!

I can’t even express enough how perfect this little barn worked for us. It’s both cozy and spacious, and so clean and beautiful. I had to communicate with the owner a few times before our arrival and each time she responded so quickly and was so accommodating. We flew in from Colorado to visit family in the area and had them over for dinner one night and everyone loved it. There was plenty of room to eat, plenty of space to visit, others took a nap on the comfy couches or watched football on the tv. Thank you so much for letting us stay here and have a great visit!

We stayed at this lovely Barn for Christmas 2025. They had it beautifully decorated for the holiday. She even had home made chocolate chip cookies for when we arrived. We had a few questions and the host, Barb, was so quick with a response. The Barn is so much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. We had 10 over for dinner and - it was tight- but it worked. The kitchen has almost everything you need to make a big dinner or a big breakfast- but we had to borrow a few pans and such. The barn was pretty quiet- but just know there isn’t any drywall for walls- it’s only wooden boards.We will be returning for sure!!This place is definitely with 5

Just Perfect!

This rental is just perfect in every way! From the moment we arrived to the time we reluctantly had to depart was truly amazing, relaxing, and enjoyable. The barn was spacious and very clean and felt like "home." The chocolate chip cookies were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. There were so many unexpected and appreciated amenities offered; even a toy corner. The scavenger hunt was really fun participating as well as watching the competitive side come out in the adult children. (We never were able to find the cow.) Being able to feed the coy and the birds were also a huge plus. And, the location fit our family needs perfectly. Thank you for the gifts and a very enjoyable, memorable stay. We would have to say our 3 year-old grandson sums Bear Creek Barn up the best, "I just love it here"!

Thanksgiving getaway

We really enjoyed this property, as did our puppy. The cabin was surprisingly well stocked- enough to cook a Thanksgiving meal, as well as kitchen, laundry, etc. Would recommend. Our only complaint is the bed in the master was not comfortable. A new mattress and we would return repeatedly.
