« A beautiful cabin surrounded in rich, forest with hiking trails. The property located is tucked away, which makes you feel secluded. Its an amazing and calm experience. The other campers were kind and said hello, when passing by. Fresh food markets nearby. Great nearby cities for more exploration. This was the best and safest experience in a cabin. The maintenance and upkeep is noticeable and I felt special staying in this cabin. This was an epic time away from home. Thank you. »

« Super cute place! Excellent location for Acadia National Park. Peaceful, A/C, laundry, cute little kitchen care pack (an old review said there was nothing to wash dishes with- that no longer is the case, we were provided dish soap and a sponge) and a bathroom care pack with shampoo, conditioner, laundry, and soap/body wash. It was pricy but that’s expected during peak travel times and we booked pretty late in the year. Grateful to have found this gem and highly recommend. »

« We loved the cabin and the location. We enjoyed the deer, turkeys and birds who visited. So easy to access Acadia park and downtown Bar Harbor. A short and pretty walk over to the seawall and picnic area. We were very glad we chose SW Harbor as it was really the quiet side. The Harbor Table and Peter Trout’s Tavern are great spots for dinner or lunch. »

« This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. It was very clean and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed seashell hunting at the private beach! We spent a lot of time at Acadia National Park and towns around there, all less than an hour away. We would definitely stay again if in the area! »

« What a beautiful property! It's located at end of a long gravel road on a tidal river. There's a deck, firepit, and basketball net. You can check the tidal clock inside and explore the riverside at low tide. It is 40-ish minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Nearby is a Hannaford supermarket and a LL Bean outlet, with plenty of other stores and restaurants nearby. « My week at Acadia National Park was amazing and this quaint cabin, which is steps from the park itself and trails, was everything as listed. It was clean, newer and quiet. I was on a solo trip, but it could easily sleep 4 or 6 people with the loft. The inside is roomy with a single bathroom with shower and a full kitchen, and the outside offered a grill and fire pit (stocked plentifully with wood to burn). « Stayed in high end and low end places. Normally don’t care about most things and just leave a good review, until something really irks me. So I’ll start with main thing. Needed to foam roll after long days of driving so did so on the rug. Now the light sucks and I didn’t pay too much attention. « The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...

« This is the perfect house to visit Acadia, very close to the Hull’s cove visitor Center and the ocean (there is a rocky beach at the end of the street). The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our two families. Sand beach was the perfect place to swim in the Ocean. »
