Lovely summer vacation spot!

We had a fabulous time staying here while visiting the area. The layout was great for our family of 4, the kids loved the pool and balcony, and we found it peaceful to be right on the lakefront and near many parks and attractions. We also appreciated the access to a washer/dryer, an extra convenience when traveling with little ones. Scott and Peggy were incredibly nice and friendly hosts, helped answer questions about the local area, and ensured we had all we needed. Highly recommend, we would stay again!

Girls' Trip

My long-time friend and I stayed at Scott and Peggy's apartment at the end of June 2025. She had retired at the end of 2024, and we planned this getaway for just the two of us. There are so many positives to this rental: lovely apartment separate from the main house, seeing Lake Cayuga from our deck, swimming pool, wineries everywhere, short distances for eating and shopping. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

The inside was very clean. Interior decor was very nice and beautiful big kitchen. They did a nice job putting it together. Great location, near a State Park and walking distance to a local restaurant. Perfect to eat there after a long day at the lake! Host Scott was very friendly and helpful all the time. Girls Finger Lakes getaway

My friend and I so enjoyed our stay! Fantastic location - allowed us to be centrally located for the things we wanted to do. Apartment is beautifully furnished and comfortable. We loved having coffee in the morning on the deck and wine on the evening. Scott the owner was really helpful and responsive to our questions - even before we got there! We loved our stay there and hope to return.

A truly wonderful time in a beautiful setting

The apartment was amazingly clean and better appointed than my own home!!! Which is saying a lot because I'm an organized clean freak. Scott and Peggy couldn't have been nicer, we loved talking with them. They answered inquires immediately but were so respectful of our privacy. The view from the deck was beautiful, I really can't say enough positive things...except we're already looking forward to staying here next year!!!

Absolutely perfect

I have stayed in many, many short term rentals, and this was by far the best. I have nothing bad to say about any of it. Communication, cleanliness, exactly as described in the listing. But it was the special homey touches that pushed it over the top. The best stocked kitchen ever. I've gotten used to bringing my own special utensils, spices and even foil and baggies. Not only did they have a huge array of spices, foil and plastic wraps, they also had a shelf with a note that had take home containers for you if you had leftovers you wanted to keep! Even though it rained the entire time, the view of the lake from the balcony would be just another reason to return. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking in that area.

Fantastic place

I'm skeptical by nature so it's always shocking when something is as good as or better than advertised. This property fits in the latter category. Scott was very communicative before and during the trip. The pics were great but don't do the apartment justice. It was extremely clean, spacious and well decorated. I came away very impressed which is pretty rare. Our timing was great because the fall colors were on full display. This was a very short trip to see the area but we will definitely be back to stay longer and see more of the Finger Lakes. I would encourage anyone staying in the region to look at this property. Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's property. The unit was very clean with very nice furnishings. The location was perfect for us to visit sites on both the east side of Seneca Lake and the west side of Cayuga Lake. We were a group of four friends and we had plenty of room.

Wonderful Stay

The home was very clean and very well stocked. Scott was very responsive throughout the process. He was able to accommodate an early check in - even with guests checking out the same morning. He even texted as soon as the cleaning crew left to let us know we could come even earlier if we wanted - which he didn't have to do. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise come through the trees and just looking out at the water. Wolffy'sBar and Grill is right down the street, right on the water (you can walk to it) and had great food. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay her again. Thank you, Scott.

Great place, comfy bed, reasonably priced

We (a couple) were just looking to be away from the norm and connect for a night. comfy living space to visit as a family or 2 couples. we took a bike ride along the lake (6 mi round trip, low/no traffic); if you wanted to swim at the state park beach on cayuga lake, this is a great place to stay. kids would love the state park playground. we stopped at the bar with music, walking distance from the place and had a drink in a lively outdoor atmosphere. beautiful, completely equipped kitchen was great place to prepare our meal and some drinks. we ate outside on the balcony/deck looking at the lake on a cool evening. Watched some TV (great picture and sound bar), slept in the VERY comfortable queen bed; had coffee in the swimming pool before packing up to leave. Price for the place/size/location fair. Cleaning fee of $99 is steep for a night (altho we understand there are some fixed costs in turnover, this might need to be more sliding scale depending on length of stay). We had everything we needed without any prep (except for our food, of course -- they even had some cooking oil and spices as well as every utensil you could want!). Loved it! Thank you Scott & Peggy

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. The apartment was immaculate and exactly as shown in the pictures. The pool made the property extra special. The owners were lovely and went out of their way to add little touches that made this truly feel like your home away from home. I highly recommend this property!
