„This was a great space for our girls getaway! An easy drive to Shenandoah National Park for hiking and views. The house was well-stocked and nicely decorated. We would stay here again!“

„Amazing property. Matches pictures. Host is responsive. Thank you for sharing your property. We would stay here again!“

„No River Access, no way to use kayaks, no king bed. First the property is very nice and clean. Had all the tools and supplies we would need. Problem was there was a king bed listed. There was only the queen and bunk beds. I am 6'6" so this was a selling point over other houses. Also there was no River Access to use the kayaks or go fishing. I was told to go on another property to get there, nope. They also spring on me after I booked it was 150 to rent the kayaks, very expensive. Also note that ...

„We absolutely loved staying here. The Hobbit House is so cool! It's full of Hobbit and Lord of the Rings-themed decorations. The whole thing is very whimsical, especially the canopy bed. The hot tub was nice even in summer. Lots of wildlife around too. The property was fun to explore with our dog. Riverbank Farms is down the road so we picked up some sausages and they were the best we've ever had. We chose this area for our vacation because it's so close to Shenandoah National Park. „Lovely location on the river. Fire pit, screened shelter overlooking the river, hot tub, sauna. Pool table and tv room in a separate building, keeps noise out of the house. Didn't spend the extra 300 to heat the pool, instead went to the water park. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family of 10. Kitchen and cooking supplies were good. Water pressure in the kitchen sink was very low, but the dish washer worked fine. Wifi was good. Variety of coffee makers.ALL IN ALL A VERY NICE STAY.“

„Great break with a view. Would highly recommend but know that there are people in the places around the yurt so not as secluded as I would have liked. But all are kind and we definitely enjoyed our stay.“

„Very beautiful and relaxing trip! Only suggestion I would have would be to add protection on the spiral staircase. Hitting your head on the edge isn’t fun. Very responsive host and very beautiful location“

„The river view was beautiful, but easier access would have been better. It is a lot steeper than pictures show. The fire pit area was nice, but loose gravel made it very slippery if you got too close to the edge of slope. Overall, this house is perfect for families. The bedrooms are spacious and each has a private bathroom. Six adults and four kids had plenty of room. TVs are in each room, as well. The screened in porch is very large with a dining area and TV area with couches.Would ...

„This is a breath taking property. There was plenty of room for our 7 adults and 2 kids and the direct access to the river was by far the best part of our stay. My only constructive criticism would be focusing on the cleanliness of the hot tub and that not all of the tubes, kayaks and paddles were usable, but we made do. Overall, this lovely place and would recommend!“

„Very nice property. Enjoyed our time and would definitely go back.“

„Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said ...

„We enjoyed our stay at this property and it was clean, well equipped with all the modern conveniences, and provided a nice alternative to a hotel. It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.“

„It was pet friendly and very close to Shenandoah.“

„What an incredibly clean and pristine property! This home is freshly built and it shows it! Nicely decorated to reflect the property and awesome views from every side! Though Elkton, Va might not be the vacation destination for many, if you are passing through, or planning a trip through the Shenandoah, you definetly want to stay here! Responsive and kind host that takes an interest in her guests stay! I highly recommend! You cannot go wrong staying here.“

„Great location the house was beautiful and clean with ample room for our family would stay here again and recommend it. Loved it“

„I loved this house. It had everything we were looking for and more. The hot tub is great, the game room super fun and we loved morning coffee on the deck.Ashley, the owner of the house, responded to all requests quickly and was very accommodating! We would rent this house again!“

„We loved the property. We had 3 families that stayed for the week. We enjoyed all the amenities. We had 4 children that loved the billiards and the bunk room. We enjoyed the outdoor games and relaxing in the hot tub. Highly suggest staying here.“
