« What a pleasant surprise. The place is wonderful. We had a full floor and a huge balcony overlooking the local volcanic mountains. We immensely enjoyed staying there. Unfortunately it was only for one night. We will correct this the next time. The swimming pool is remote though, you have to take the car and beware that they have no place where to change. They told you to go to the public restrooms which are disgusting. So change at the hotel. The pool is managed by another facility, not Crooked...

« The house was lovely, modern, clean. My second trip to the cabins. I love it here, so brought my family this time. We loved the common outdoor area by the river and spent many happy hours there together. The Forest Service accross the highway was so helpful and the nearby trails were beautiful.Our last night at the Obsidian Grill and General Store was fantastic with live music, great food and such a perfect mix of locals, fellow travelers and super cute canines. They can take my two dogs who are just as part of the family. Jon Mahoney is a wonderful Person to deal with. He’s always there for us and has all the answers to our questions.
