« We had a great stay! We chose this cabin to help us escape from our busy life. The home is beautiful, designed with such care and unique finishes. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware and appliances (there was even a large assortment of coffees, spices, sweeteners), the outdoor space is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous. I would recommend bringing a fan to help sleep to drown out the HotTub and HVAC turning on at night, luckily I carry one with me. « Could be a very nice home on the lake if more care was taken. Sort of a hodge-podge place with pieces of plooring missing, cabinets without handles, lots of cobwebs and a bit dirty overall. « Nice location. Front storm door was missing a window. Turning on the heat was difficult as you had to get down on the floor to turn on, adjust temp and turn off the heat register which took awhile to find the dials. And had to use a flashlight to find. Difficult for anybody with a disability as for me I have back problems. Stairs to upstairs sleeping area were very narrow and I felt unsafe. The railing was not completely to the top of the stairs and I felt the railing was not safe. Railing...

« The property was as listed. All the amenities were wonderful. The cabin felt nice and isolated from other houses but close enough to town and the Cacapon park. Tony was a wonderful, and responsive host. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting to celebrate a quiet birthday in nature. »
