„Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed .“

„schönes großes Ferienhaus neueren Baujahres mit ausreichend Platz für unsere mitreisenden 3 Parteien. Gut fanden wir die vielen Bäder. Mitten in der Natur mit tollem Ausblick. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, die uns sogar ein Paar Snacks für den ersten Abend vorbereitet haben und viele Ausflugstipps gegeben haben. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge am Loch Lomond. Der Urlaub war sehr schön hier, würden wieder kommen“

„What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. “

„We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.“

„Etwas abgelegen .Glasgow und Loch Lomond sind allerdings angenehm zu erreichen. Sehr ruhiges Umfeld.“

„The listing said there was a playground on site and there was no playground. This was the main reason I choose this place. The front step was broken, so almost tripped a few times. There were no garbage bags and on 1/10 of a roll of toilet paper (not enough for 4 days). When I called they said they’d bring some out and they never did. It smelled. The temperature in the shower when from cold to hot fast. Beds were not comfortable. “

„Such a beautiful place with wonderful owners. Lovely atmosphere just looking beautiful nature around the cottage. Barry and Kathleen were always available and even helped me find a trustworthy mechanic for a small problem with my car. Would definitely book again.“

„What an amazing property! Obviously, the views are incredible and the photographs in the listing, as good as they are, really don’t do it justice. The property is well distanced from other properties and feels private and well equipped for cooking at home. There are plenty of places to visit nearby but after touring all of both the east and west coast the best view is probably from the Heron cottage.
