« Was there on business the property is clean and has everything you need! If you don’t, Hans is more than happy to help you out, just let him know. He’s a great guy. Shower is a bit slow but it’s a cabin so that’s wasn’t an issue really. Lovely quiet place :) »

« We comprised a group of 6 adults and 3 young children and this house was ideal. It has lots of space, big common areas and a fabulous kitchen for cooking in. The children loved the fact that there are two staircases! The bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable with nice bedding. There are plenty of bathrooms too. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished.Our vacation was in February 2025 so not great weather but that didn't spoil our trip; there are plenty of nearby activities. ...

« Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed . »

« Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est magnifique, très bien situé pour découvrir la région du Loch Lomond . Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et se sont rendus très disponibles pour nous donner toutes les indications. Le gîte est excellemment bien équipé, on se croirait à la maison.... Nous avons également très apprécié le panier d'accueil . C'est un hébergement fortement recommandé et si nous en avons l'occasion nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner. »

« We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family. »

« What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. »

« Een heel knusse cottage met een volwaardige keuken en een heerlijke grote koelkast met vriezer! En wat erg luxe was gebruik van zwembad, jacuzzi en wasmachine en droger. Locatie omgeving heel mooi! Alleen de toegangsweg is een boerenweg die smal is dus rekening houden met rustig rijden naar boven. »

« Spacious and clean country home. Plenty of room for our whole family. The Walking trails were nice with a grocery store nearby but don't miss out on a delicious meal at The Clachan. »

« What an amazing property! Obviously, the views are incredible and the photographs in the listing, as good as they are, really don’t do it justice. The property is well distanced from other properties and feels private and well equipped for cooking at home. There are plenty of places to visit nearby but after touring all of both the east and west coast the best view is probably from the Heron cottage. After thinking long and hard about how to make this place even better, the only thing is to have...
