    UNIQUE CORNER FIREPLACE:   A unique corner fireplace serves as the focal point in the open-concept living/kitchen combination, providing warmth and ambiance. Additional bar stool seating complements the dining area.

    MAIN BEDROOM:   The main bedroom offers a queen-size bed, its own television, and an en-suite bathroom with a step-in shower, providing comfort and convenience.

Girls weekend with Mom & Sisters

Spent the weekend in South Haven with mom and two sisters and we stayed in Cottage 8B. Everything was wonderful and just as described. Clean/ updated bathrooms and kitchen and not pictured was an oversized dining table and couch/ chairs in the living room with the fireplace. The weather ended up being spectacular so we took advantage of both porches (front & back) to enjoy our coffee and wine and were even able to get down to the beach one afternoon. Beach access could not have been easier or more convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back...planning on walking the beach right into town!

Reviewer Comments: Despite all the photos of a gorgeous pool - it is not open and available due to staffing issues, so that was a big disappointment for my daughter. The house itself is perfect, very clean, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. There’s a beautiful beach and other amenities, like tennis and basketball courts. I would stay here again, but website needs to reflect the pool issue. Not really fair to people who book for that reason.

First family vacation at sleepy hollow resort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in cottage 8B and had a great time with our 2 kids, 4 years old and 1 year old! The cottage was very clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. Kitchen was fully stocked, we cooked /grilled all our meals in the cottage. The amenities at the resort were perfect for the kids, heated pool, kiddie pool, park, yard games . We visited the beach on the resort property, however it is almost non existent due to the water level but there are many public beaches nearby. The staff did advise us ahead of time about the beach so we weren't disappointed. We will definitely be back for future family vacations!

Many in our group had never stayed there before and were completely charmed. Each the 3 units we rented had it's own well pulled together vibe and was well appointed. The grounds are lovely and it is a nice walk into town. Will definitely be back!

Cottage 8B Annual Family Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Sleepy Hollow - it’s secluded, almost all-inclusive and nearby shopping, great food and entertainment. Our extended family rents 6+ cottages and we enjoy hanging out together. Special memories that we have enjoyed for years. That said, we are disappointed that the lake has overtaken the beach, and feel that the rental cost is no longer equitable with limited amenities. (No volleyball, evening fire pits, walks along the beach, etc.) We will likely return to Sleepy Hollow, yet no longer on an annual basis.
