Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the hot tub and our dog loved the back yard. She did however find her way to the street under the deck and luckily was quickly discovered MIA. We did see a black bear and several coyotes across the street one evening.

Perfect for us! Would come back again.

This place was a great overall stay. We were a group of 6, and there was plenty of space for us. Our pups loved the spacious backyard, even though the weather was not so nice for us. Perfect for those looking to hit the slopes and those who want to sit back and relax in nature. We really appreciated the EV charger because the cold does drain our battery much faster. Rooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Loved the video game machines. Just watch out if you have your dogs in the yard, there is space under the deck and an opening that they can wiggle through and get out onto the main road. We would recommend and definitely come back again, hopefully the weather next time will permit us to use the hot tub!

Great place to stay!

The home was clean and up to date. I would definitely stay here again. We came up for a weekend getaway and had zero issues. We left a day early due to weather and the possibility of being stuck in Tahoe - no fault of the property. Shared pictures of our trip with other family who all commented on how nice the property was. No complaints. Thank you.

Definitely enjoyed my stay, we plan on coming back again for our One year Anniversary ☺️ I couldn’t recommend this listing enough, it’s literally perfect, loved spending hours in the jacuzzi or by the indoor fire place, and we absolutely LOVED the showers and indoor jacuzzi tub, Can’t wait to be back soon!!!!

Nice location, needs better maintenance

We were there for the weekend of Labor Day for 3 days; property in a nice location. Cleanliness to discuss; urine stains on corners of sofa in the living room. Pet friendly is accurate but needs more cleaning. Master bedroom comforter with stains; got another one from the other bedrooms; dubious if sheets were changed before our arrival in the master bedroom. Body hair noted on the sheets, which had holes. Staircase from the garage to the house was dirty; we had to use the broom first before going in the house. Backyard is catering a lot of junk as well as the garage. For the price we paid, this should be organized!

Thunderbird Cabin - South Lake Tahoe

This was an average property in comparison to many other vacation rentals we have stayed in. - Inside of the house was clean. Beds comfortable. - My husband had to pick up dog poop in the yard upon our arrival so kids could play disk golf. - Outside patio tables and chairs very dirty. - Upon arrival outside hot tub was cold. No instructions left to get it functioning - no return phone call when we called to inquire. - Outside decorative hanging lights burnt out/not functioning - Hand Soap dispenser in downstairs bathroom empty - Nice & easy location to get to many places we wanted to visit in South Lake Tahoe! -Kids appreciated the video games Many personal touches we have experienced in other rental missing - hence the average review. It was a decent place but for the price expected more.

Overall happy, great spot

Overall happy with our stay. There’s a river nearby that is walking distance and you can hang out at. My only complaint is that the place could have been more clean. There were cobwebs in bathroom ceilings and the patio was covered in leaves and cobwebs. It takes a minute or two to use a leaf blower to clear the patio for guests, and it would have made all the difference.

Great property for dogs

This property worked great for our 5 adults and three kids. Kids loved the zip line and arcade games. Our labs loved the back yard which was very large. The negatives were pollen all over patio furniture made it close to unusable. The jacuzzi was very dirty and we didn’t use after day 1. There is also a gap in the backyard fence under front gate that dogs quickly discovered and got out. Overall we liked the property.

Great house for a ski trip to Heavenly

My friends, dad, and sister stayed at 1760 Thunderbird for a ski trip to Heavenly, and we had a wonderful time! The house had everything we needed for cooking and gathering. We had a wonderful dinner using the kitchen to make pasta and salad, and afterwards, we used the living room space to all watch a movie together. We'd definitely stay again!

Great home

We loved our stay! The driveway is definitely a challenge but the property manager was a great help and got people to the house asap to help clear driveway. Definitely be prepared with chains though - we would recommend not arriving late because it would be a challenge to navigate driveway in the dark or late at night. Chains or snow tires definitely needed as driveway is more steep than appears and we had challenge even with chains but once that challenge is cleared, the property is great!! Lots of games to play, tv and streaming service was working and awesome, property was in great shape and felt comfortable & clean with enough space to be comfortable and have a good, comfy & cozy time. Property manager Michelle was very responsive and super helpful! We had fun playing games inside by fire and playing in the snow in the large backyard. The driveway is steep but made a great little sledding hill for the teens- we had a blast (use caution of course!) We had a great time! Would recommend!

Fun stay!

We went for my daughter's birthday it was nice to escape the city and create memories. Everything during our stay was amazing. Only minor issues were the hot tub didn't work. Was told I would receive a credit back. The driveway is very steep. If you go while its snowimg ensure you have a vehicle that make it up the hill.

Great location

Very beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood. It has a Tesla charger in the garage so it made it more convenient for us. It is equipped with lots of board/table games/arcades, no one was ever bored! It’s spacious, comfortable and cozy! The hot tub works well. The 3 bathrooms make it more convenient especially if you have a big family! The fireplace and all the accessible apps on the tv made our stay special with lots of unforgettable memories made and family bonding. The kitchen is well equipped with pots/pans/dinnerware/silverware. The only thing I didn’t like really is the very steep driveway. With snow, it’s no fun driving in and out of the garage with the steep, curved driveway. Overall, all expectations were met and we had a good, comfortable stay.

Well-equipped house in peaceful woodland neighborhood

We had great communication with the property manager who let us check in early and was quick to respond to any questions during our stay. Big spacious rooms comfortably slept 5 adults and we enjoyed the hot tub and games on offer in the house, as well as the cosy fireplace. We cooked every night but did bring a lot of our own cooking utensils, though the kitchen would’ve had most things we needed. Room for three cars on the drive was super helpful too. Would stay again, summer or winter!

Great neighborhood, awesome yard

Great neighborhood and awesome yard, but room for improvement. There’s always Pros and Cons for any home, and this one was a 3.5 / 5 for us…a few things I’d recommend the property manager or owner review and re-consider. Pros - 1) huge fenced yard with tons to do… frisbee golf, slack line, spa, patio table 2) great bedroom layout for three couples or families to comfortably sleep. 3) appreciated the Tesla charger in the garage. 4) nice quiet neighborhood with a trail at the end of the court I wish we noticed earlier as we would have gone for a longer walk Cons - 1) kitchen was *very* sparsely stocked…there wasn’t a single water glass in the cabinets…everything was a wine glass or martini glass or a coffee cup. Shocked to see no glassware and very few pieces of silverware. Very few basic stocked groceries - no salt or olive oil, etc. No pooper scooper noted for dog poop pickup. Things we expected to see but weren’t there. 2) no working ice maker on the fridge . Water worked on the fridge door but the ice did not. . 3) new spa outside but it had a horrible plastic smell when used. … too much chlorine or something? 4) bath towels and toiletries (ie shampoo) were cheap quality and no hair conditioner or body wash was provided 5) home could use a few repairs - dishwasher makes an awful noise when opened, dining room rug corner is taped down to the ground with blue tape, a few window blinds are made of cheap ripped paper or look like they melted, etc. 6) two sofas in family room would be small for a large group staying at the home for movie night. 7) security cameras mounted outside are understandable but don’t provide guests with privacy when in the spa or using the backyard…makes you feel less comfortable / relaxed when you feel like you’re being watched. I guess we expected a few nicer things at this price to make the home more comfortable…a few small changes would make it feel more homey. Side note - when we arrived, the door code was incorrect, the garage code wasn’t shared correctly (# vs enter), and the home was super cold inside when we finally got inside. Would suggest a better process for arrival.

Family friendly

Great house, good location for us- not right on the middle of busy south lake. Home was clean and spacious. Fenced backyard was a bonus as we brought our dog. Found some fun trails at end of the court. Would stay here again. Bummer the hot tub was not working. That was one of the reason we chose the home. Property manager said missing a part and they would refund our hot tub fee. That still has NOT happened.

great house and had a wonderful time, the only negative part was the tree removal company, I would suggest they notify the mangament company when this is schudule, so that we were aware, 2 trees were being cut down on property. at 8am on friday we had to move cars from driveway and that limited access to leave to leave house at 11am. overall great time and would book again

A must rent for a summer stay

Home was as described if not better. Clean linens, towels and lots of kitchen essentials provided. It was almost as good as staying at a nice hotel. They even provide hotel style shampoo and lotion. Will absolutely book again.

Basic House in Good Location

This Tahoe house was in a good location for access to Heavenly. It was large enough to accommodate the 6 of us comfortably. Having said that we were less than satisfied with the home. First, while we were notified more than once that we needed a 4W drive for the very steep driveway due to ice, we were not notified that even with a 4W drive, the driveway may be actually unusable. We have a 4W drive and our car not make it up the steep driveway which was super icy. In fact our car slid down it. We had to park barely in the driveway at the bottom- just shy of the entrance to the road. That meant we had to carry all our luggage up the steep driveway on the ice and down at the end of our stay, not to mention hiking up and down the driveway each day when we went skiing. Treacherous. We constantly fell. The house had no staples like salt and pepper. The TV remotes in the rooms were nowhere to be found. The was a fireplace with wood, but nothing to get it started (so we had to go to Safeway to buy some kindle/fire starter). If you're a cook, the kitchen will disappoint. There was one large frying pan - nothing for smaller items; and several decent pots. No kettle (even one for the stove) if you want tea (had to use a pot). No dishes to use in the oven (like a casserole dish). One cookie sheet. Dinner plates for 6 when the house accommodates 8. No hot pad, except one kitchen mit. Only 2 dishtowels. Only 2 wine glasses. Very basic kitchen utensils. Having stayed at many VRBOs, this house was so basic it was not funny. We will never stay at this house again.

Winter Getaway

Our family enjoyed this beautiful cabin for Christmas! It was wonderful to see the snow every morning and the area is really lovely. It made it very memorable for us! The driveway is steep, so you need a 4-wheel drive if there's snow.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin for a family trip.

Cabin was actually nicer than I expected. Our group was 5 adults with 2 large dogs and the cabin fit us perfectly. Nice modern remodeling. Great fenced backyard. Only downside is the carpeting seemed a little dirty. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.
