Mission Concepcion is a great low-key mission to visit. It's in a neighborhood / light commercial area and is still a functioning church. It is also the closest mission to downtown San Antonio except for the Alamo. There is no fence around Mission Concepcion and can be visited any time of day. Be sure to visit the other missions as well as they each offer a unique experience.

« The house and the location were perfect for our short stay in Bandera. Enough room for my husband and I, and our two teens boys. Bonus that the property is pet-friendly, since we had our pups with us. « The room was really nice. It was in a perfect location. The backyard was beautiful. There are a couple of things that could make the property a little better. It could have ADA accommodation. It was hard for my mother to get up the stairs, front and back. They could use a handrail for the steps and also to get in and out of the tub, you could also use some extra hooks in the bathroom to hang up our wet towels and washcloths. Extra outlets to charge our Cell phones, tablets, and smartwatches. »

« What I reserved (6 person suite) was not provided; I was provided 1 king bed and 1 love seat (not a fold out bed). Mgt refused to give refund, very uncooperative and even combative. We had to beg for extra sheets, blankets and pillows to be able to sleep on the tile floor. Room pics advertised a jacuzzi, again false advertising. They swindle you on purpose! After check in, they changed the pics. This is a Texas inn and suites, which wasn’t obvious from their listing or pictures. TOTAL SCAM!...
