More than expected

Beautiful home, spacious, clean with everything you can ask for. Quiet location, beaches nearby with Wellfleet center a few minutes drive. Drummer cove scenery was spectacular.

The open floor layout was perfect for our families doing different activities in the same large space. View was beautiful from both of the larger bedrooms. A Nice Spot in Wellfleet

Great location near town and the beaches. We've been coming to Wellfleet for over 30 years and this is right about where we wanted to be. Great view of the cove from the back deck. The house really could use shades on the windows - the window treatments are not adequate for either privacy or blocking the sun, as the case may be. We experienced a couple of issues, but they were quickly resolved (the cleaning service showed up after we arrived, the thermostat wasn't working properly, and we had a minor plumbing event). All in all worth our while.

Drummers Cove

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the breeze and views in this beautiful home off of Drummers Cove. The house easily accommodated us (4 adults) and was just a bike or car ride away from the sights and sounds of Wellfleet. Note: google maps does not recognize this location as being in Wellfleet and sends you instead to Eastham. Best to arrive for the first time by daylight to read the house address!

Repeat Visit

We also stayed in this house 2 years ago. We love the quiet location and the view is amazing. We never stayed on the Cape during off season before. It was nice to not have the usual crowds but we got there just before a lot of places were closing up for the season. The house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed doing the jigsaw puzzles. Our only complaint is that the dirt road to the house is in bad shape. Fortunately we have an SUV.

Great View

This was a lovely well stocked house. We enjoyed the water views with our coffee in the morning out on the deck and from most every room in the house. You can’t find the house using GPS but the directions that were emailed from the property manager were good. We’ve been to the Cape many times but never stayed in Wellfleet before. It’s a cute town with some very good restaurants and the house is a short drive from Marconi beach. My adult children enjoyed putting together the jigsaw puzzles provided and even bought some new ones in Provincetown which is less than a 20 minute drive. We even went to a comedy drag show one night. Overall we had an excellent vacation and were very pleased with the house.

The charcoal grill needed updating and and need an extra outdoor chair for six guests and an umbrella.

Reviewer Comments: Thanks to the owners for the upgrades: New screen door, new chairs on deck, etc. This is our 4th or 5th year coming hear; we hope to continue. A few minor items: 1) For the second year in a row, the smoke alarm went off; handyman Dan came by to fix it. Not sure what the problem is. 2) There is a small hole on the deck that a chair leg can fall in. Dan put tape over it but the wood needs to be replaced. 3) There is no screen on one window in small upstairs bedroom. These are small things. Overall, a great place to vacation. Thanks.

The queen bed (firm but not hard) was unbelievably comfortable and we slept great for the 5 weeks we were there! It has high end pots and pans which made cooking easier on an electric stove. View ad breeze from the water kept the house cool all day and night.
