« One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out. »

« House was great and had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Large and private, but not quite secluded. Can see other houses. Mountain driveway is not to be underestimated. 4WD required and need tall clearance under car. It is 1-car wide and challenged when you meet another car coming the other way. Close enough to both Shenandoah for outdoor activities and C’ville for city attractions. Cleanliness great! Communication easy and prompt. »

« Enjoyed everything about this place! Spectacularly clean. Comfy beds. Great gathering spaces indoors and out. Close to everything in the region. Fabulous evenings at the fire pit after grilled dinners in the deck. Completely hassle free entry. Everything works. Exactly as pictured/described !! »

« My friends and I had a fantastic time staying at the dancing bear. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The host was also easy to get ahold of. There is a wonderful view from the cabin overlooking the valley below. Just make sure to bring a flashlight for the stairs leading to the firepit when going down there at night because they are unlit and one of my friends did trip when using them in the dark. »

« Incredible property! Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed! After some snafu with the electronic locks resulting from my inability to use technology, the rest of the stay went off without a hitch. « Lovely large cabin in the woods. Good view of the mountain across the way. The stars are very bright and beautiful at night. The cabin itself was well furnished for our large group. We especially appreciated the pool table and the numerous balconies. The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils. Not far from Luray if you need supplies. »

« Aside from food, the place was already stocked with everything you need. Nice comfortable setup. Spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck and enclosed porch just enjoying the view and sounds of nature. Nice and fairly secluded spot but still close enough to venture out and explore what Luray has to offer. We visited Cooter's place (The Dukes of Hazard Museum), The Luray Rescue Zoo, The Luray Caverns and the other attractions they have at the cavernsand found us a fishing spot. Just enjoyed...
