Cabanes à Stanardsville

« 30 mins before check in we were informed of a burn ban that had been in effect for several days- not being able to have a campfire was a huge bummer and this info should have been shared earlier. Because of the ban I asked for our destination fee back-it’s a $30 day fee for firewood and “curated snacks” which was a bag of popcorn and instant oatmeal and some smores. I felt that since we couldn’t have a fire the fee should be refunded because the cabin is right our plan had been some campfires...

« Lovely home in a good location. We hiked high top mountain and made a visit to the glasshouse winery. Home was clean and well setup. We played lots of games in the family room and 6 sat comfortably at the table for dinners. »

« We had a great stay at Dancing Bear cabin. Great location very close to Shenandoah National Park. The cabin is beautiful inside and out and the views off the back deck are amazing. The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Highly recommend! »

« Cozy cabin right on the lake! You can’t get any closer to the water than this. Hoping to stay here again when the weather is warmer so we can go swimming. There is a fire pit right next to the lake, as well as a dock. This stay is perfect for anyone wanting to connect with the outdoors. »

« Very nice accommodations. Easy to get to and off the main road which is nice so that you can get around the mountains. Amenities were very nice. Even coffee was available. Beds were comfortable and the living space was plenty for a large group if you needed it. »
