We didn't mind the drive, but you should at least be aware. The house is, however, not far from Schoodic and Winter Harbor, which also allows you to experience much of the same hikes, water sports, etc. as Bar Harbor. “

„We loved our stay. The house was perfectly located, a short 9 min drive to downtown Bar Harbor and no greater than a 15 min drive to the hiking we did. The property is plenty spacious and comfortable. We went the first week of November but were never cold as the house had a heating unit and multiple space heaters if you needed extra sources of warmth. Our dog (Mini Aussie) loved the front deck and had plenty of space within the house to spread out. We'd love to come back and highly recommend ...
