This is a wonderful property for a large family or for smaller groups. The 5 separate condos allowed for privacy and quiet from the bigger group, but still allowed everyone to be together. The Penthouse was perfect for everyone to gather together! Check in was easy, and wifi was strong. The hosts were super responsive for any questions or needs. They sent treats for the group and were so great to deal with. The place is in great condition, very clean and had plenty of fun stuff to do. It was well stocked with towels and anything you might need to cook and grill. The washer and dryer in each unit made it easy for a long stay. The location couldn't be better, so close to the freeway, yet it was quiet. Very close to beaches and restaurants and shopping. Our group was in town for a family reunion and had a blast! We rented the entire building and it was well worth the price. We would definitely rent this property again!

Our family reunion at the Family Retreat was wonderful. All the families or family groups had their own condo with the Penthouse being our whole family gathering place for dinner and hanging out. Yet, being individual condos, the late night people were able to continue to visit with no issue with sound waking others. The location was perfect for people walk to get donuts/coffee, visit the dunes and coastal cities. Being super close to stores was very helpful. The furnishings were great and all the condos were super clean. Highly recommend.

Great for multi-family vacation

Great location and great space for a large group. The separate but connected units worked well for us, giving everyone their own space but also large areas for us to gather as a group. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed.

Amazing stay for New Year's celebration.

We had an amazing stay with our group of 25! The property is impeccable - clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. We loved that almost every bedroom has it's own bathroom. Perfect for families. Kids were entertained at the pool table and arcade games and everyone enjoyed a great time in the spacious living room. The host (Tony) was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had a seamless experience. Highly recommend this property for large groups! We will be back.

Perfect for large groups!

We brought close to 30 people with a mix of adults and younger kids, and this place was really exceptional. The separate interior units worked very well - for example, a family with an infant stayed in their own unit - and the amenities on hand kept kids more than entertained while we were at the house. They are already begging to come back! It's also close to the world-class beaches of Lake Michigan, clean, attractively furnished, and has a responsive owner/manager who was quick to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay very much and will have this high on the list for a return visit.
