« I wasn't going to leave a review, but I keep getting emails requesting a review. I left a note and a cash tip.We've stayed down the road, so thiught we'd try a new cabin. On a good note, it's a good location, and had everything we needed ( except a pan). The inside was cozy and clean. The price was good. Communication was easy enough. I'm not sure why the outside was neglected. I saw in the journal that we weren't the first people to stay this spring. The trash was 2/3 full out back, and...

« We wanted a weekend getaway around Patoka Lake. Cardinal Cabin was the perfect choice, the area is beautiful. There’s a lot to do around the area and French Lick is only a small drive away. The cabin was extremely clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and overall, just relaxing in the cabin. Would definitely rent this cabin again! »

« Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot! »

« Read reviews and did not see any comments about a train that is literally feet behind the house. VERY LOUD. I did enjoy all the graffiti. Like a traveling art show. The kitchen could have been cleaner. My husband left it cleaner than when we arrived. If there wasn’t the train we would have loved our stay »

« Cabin was perfect. The only let down was the pond which was overgrown with moss and was unable to catch any big fish. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in French Lick. The weather was perfect for being outside and enjoying the wrap around porch. There was plenty of room for our family to enjoy our time together. The cabin is well located to town for enjoying all French Lick has to offer. »

« The owners definitely undersell this place in their listing - it was perfect for what we needed! A quiet location at the end of a private drive, surrounded by the woods, was a great location for a relaxing trip away from the city. Charlie and Audrey also provided great tips on where to rent a boat for the Lake, as well as a list of nearby bait shops, stores and places to grab some grub. We’d definitely be willing to stay here again! »
