« We had a transformer blow the first hour we were there but the electric company had us up and running in just an hour. We loved being out in the country and the only sounds we heard were light rain and the beautiful birds singing! We got to meet the owner and had her come down and sit on the porch with us and just talk about family and silly things. « Excellent location in relation to the places we wanted to visit.Very nice and comfortable suite that had everything we needed for the week. Nice sitting area in the backyard to have a drink and wind up after a long day of walking and hiking.The view/s of the mountains from the property was striking.Because the suite was in the lower level we had to go down and up stairs to get to the suite. But once in the suite it didn't feel like it was in a lower level of the house.We had our dog with us and...

« We stayed for 2 night to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and fell in love with the property. It was so serene and beautiful that we felt more relaxed than we had in ages. We will definitely be back! »

« Fantastic home, fantastic location. We've stayed in Damascus many times over the years. This is by far the best rental ever. The host has thought of everything. We wanted for nothing. I absolutely recommend this stay. »

« This charming cabin was perfect for a short escape for our three-person family. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It is actually very close to major roadways, but feels incredibly remote and quiet. We'll definitely consider this spot for a longer stay next time. »

« More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay. »

« Everything was great! We never did manage to ride our bikes all the way up Vails Mill Rd., but was able to ride once we got closer to the top. Proximity to Creeper Trail was a bonus. The trip from Abingdon to Damascus is an awesome ride or just the ride to Alvarado Station and back is great. Ride in to town, look and shop and come back to the cabin and grill burgers. « The cabin was a great place to spend our anniversary weekend. Easy access to Hungry Mother SP for hiking. Super comfy bed and the hot tub has an awesome set up under the trees. The whole cabin site was fantastic! »

« Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck!
