« Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, can’t rate them highly enough. The hotel is very well kept and nicely finished. The food is amazing. Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. Only minor comment is Bathroom decor could do with a refresh but overall a very nice stay and would highly recommend a visit. »

« Accommodation was bright, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and polite. My only issue was the WiFi, I was in accommodation in a building detached from the main inn building. The WiFi was almost non-existent - as I was staying on business I rely on WiFi for the duration of my stay. It would be beneficial if the main building WiFi is extended to all accommodation. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant. »

« Beautiful hotel with an amazing history. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome, the staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful throughout. Our room was prepared by Lindsay, Jo & Sally and they did a remarkable job it was immaculate. Extremely comfortable king size bed and the shower was fab, superb water pressure. Great bar area to relax in before dining and the breakfast choice catered for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay and most certainly we will be back. »

Very clean and accented by those niceties that the ladies will enjoy Only concern was limited parking but host was accommodating when needed. Good family vibes... everyone on board for visitor needs and comfort. »

« This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil »
