« I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return. »

« A very friendly host. Great location for walking on heath land and the Suffolk coastal path. Within easy reach of Minsmere and Sutton Hoo. Thorpeness is a very interesting fantasy coastal resort developed for the wealthy in the early 20th century. Worth a visit for its architecture alone. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Rubblestone Cottage. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. A cosy living room with a window that looks over the meadow, which allows you to watch the visiting wildlife. Main bedroom was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and the owner provides a great list of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The lighting through out is well placed and there are some strategically placed night...

« The cottage was ideal for our stay, set in a beautiful setting and peaceful village. It was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed several countryside and riverside walks directly from the cottage. Snape, Aldeburgh and the coast are within a short drive. »

« This little cottage is ideally located opposite a well stocked local shop and close to coast path walks which is particularly handy if you have a dog. It is well equipped and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Highly recommended. »

« Beautiful wood framed 18th (I think)Century timber- framed cottage It is really cosy (but not small) with an interesting staircase leading up to up to the two bedrooms where the old roof- timbers are exposed . Bathroom & shower bathroom is conveniently situated near to the bedrooms on the first floor. Open fireplace downstairs & parking space off the road.. Perfect! We would love to stay again soon. »

« The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking. »

« Beautiful cottage with Inglenook fire place. Warm and comfortable and great for exploring Lavenham and surrounding walks. The only disappointing factor was the cleanliness in the kitchen with dirty cups and glass in the bottom of the dishwasher. Considering you pay quite a lot for cleaning and were not allowed to enter the accommodation until 5pm, cleaning was not top of the agenda! »
