Truly got to be mellow in this beautiful home!

Marsh Mellowed by the Sea was such a beautiful, relaxing escape. The home owners truly thought of everything to make our stay seamless, and we loved their special touches. Not only is the home perfect for accommodating a large number of people (4 adults, 4 children), but it's the perfect distance from the beach. Would rate this as 10 stars if I could!

Great Weekend Getaway

House is as beautiful as the pictures. Ideal location for beach access and the dock out to the marsh. Plenty of places to rent fishing gear, water sport equipment, restaurants. Private pool in the backyard had many goats and toys in the shed for use. Fully functional kitchen with cookware and utensils. Over all great experience!

Perfect Week

Our family of 10…6 adults and 4 small children had a wonderful time at the beach. House was close to the beach and the private pier at the end of the street was an added bonus. Hope to be back next year.

Part of a family reunion

We have three generations of cousins who all visit Holden Beach annually and have for about 4 decades. I am of the middle generation so it involved my mother's siblings, cousins, and all the descendants from there. It is always a challenge to find enough houses close enough to each other. We always use a beach front house as a main house for gathering and visiting then find "back houses" for sleeping/etc. This year everyone was jealous of our "back house" because it was definitely one of the best in the mix! Such a nice environment and amenities. The street having access to the pier was a big plus for the fisherman in our group. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the rooms were nice a bright. We loved our stay!

Great family beach retreat

The location of this home is excellent with a very short, easy walk to the beach. We also enjoyed having access to the marsh walk. The owner ensured the pool was heated for us during our April stay. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and taking walks on the beach.

Comfortable, Convenient and Quiet

Roomy, clean, comfortable. The pool is a great size with the overlooking screen porch so you can keep an eye on the kids without having to be right there. The proximity to the beach was great, not far at all, and i hate walking. the pier was a nice addon, the kids could fish and caught a actually few little ones. the beach was spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

This was our first time at Holden Beach and definitely won’t be our last! The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, super easy beach access and the pool was perfect! The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes with my 3yo in tow. My only suggestion would be having a small step stool for the bathroom to make it a little bit easier for little ones to reach the sink for hand washing. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home

This rental exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. We felt at home here. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Family enjoyed pool time and close proximity to the beach and pier. Lots of pool floats are available. Evenings were spent relaxing on the screened porch. There are several beach chairs and a cart which makes the walk to the beach a breeze. The neighborhood is beautiful and neighbors are friendly. We would love to stay at this property again in the future.

Perfect Beach Home

Enjoyed every bit of this home. It is just a short walk to the beach and they have all the beach equipment you could need. The pool was a big hit for our family spent lots of time in there and it also comes with so many floaties. If you enjoy fishing there is a great pier that's a 2 min walk from the home, we caught several fish an eel and crab.

Perfect Family getaway

The home was exactly as shown in the posting. Besides the location with quick and east access to the beach and the pier, the pool was my personal favorite. Kids and grandkids liked the beach more but also enjoyed the pool. Also loved the multiple options for sitting out, both front and back. All in all it was a great vacation and would definitely love to come back.

This house was amazing. We had plenty of kitchen supplies including pots and pans. Loved the way the house was laid out. The pool is an absolute must with a beach cart and floats for the pool. The area was so quite too!

Beautiful house

This house had everything you need for your vacation. So much kitchen supplies , enough for everyone. The property was very clean and did not dissapoint. The pool was an added must this year considering our daughter has MS. It was so quiet and not as crowed as the other beaches we have been to. The house was amazing!

Perfect location!

This was the perfect house for our vacation. With grandchildren ages 3 and almost 5, the walk to the beach was SO convenient. They also enjoyed the marsh pier and looking at all the tiny crabs. Beach walk in the morning, then pool. Beach early afternoon, then pool. Beach walk in the evening - what could be better than that!

Home away from home

This home was just right for us. The moment we entered, there was a welcome gift waiting for us. I have stayed at quite a few different beach homes, but this one had everything. we didn't even have to buy trash bags. I highly suggest this home.

Wonderful time in Holden Beach!
