„we loved our stay. it’s very quiet but you can be in Kerrville in like 15 minutes or Bandera in maybe 20-25. we hit HEB and James Avery and stayed put the rest of the time. it’s exactly as peaceful as we were looking for. “

„Very nice place. The yurt was very spacious for the two of us. This is a great place to stay and get away from the hustle and bustle of town. It’s less than 5 minute drive to Bandera and less than a 5 minute walk to the Medina River. The yurt and the covered deck were nestled in the trees with a hot tide at the end of the deck. „Great location. Walking distance to town and river front city park. Just enough amenities to get by. Cabin was clean and comfortable. No door between the bedroom and living area was a bit inconvenient. I get up early, she sleeps later. Other than that we would definitely return again.“

„Myself, partner, and 2 teenage kids love to get away from the city on long weekends to explore small towns and hike gorgeous state parks. This 4th of July was no exception and Utopia River Retreat lived up to its name. A perfectly sized cabin with anything we could need was a perfect home base to our adventures in Hill Country. „Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you.
