« The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive. »

« Avoid this place.
It is a room. Not an apartment.
Rubbish piled up in the front and rear gardens.
There are rats.
Bathroom is shared, and is tiny, cannot swing a cat in it, but at least a cat would help with the rats.
Kitchen is below bare minimum. 2 cups, 3 plates.
Walls are thin, doors don’t work properly, but eventually lock with enough strength. The feel of the property is like it once housed squatters, and it feels like they will be back soon.
Was due to stay for 2 nights, I didn’t/...

« Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best. »

« We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road. We loved the Peak...

« Nice smart space above shops with an easy 10 minute walk to Buxton centre. Nice kitchenette set up with everything you could need. Unfortunate that we went during the exceptional heatwave and consequently it was uncomfortably warm in there. At night windows needed to be open and the road has a lot of heavy traffic on it from very early in the morning and late night revellers until the early hours. So that maybe worth bearing in mind if you are going when it's hot if at all a light sleeper. »

« I had booked the property for visiting friends. They said thst the property was beautiful and well appointed. They know Macclesfield well and thought that due to its location it would be noisy however, that wasnt the case, they saud it was really quiet and they slept well. »

The room is fine.
The advert says private bathroom but it was shared. I had to go downstairs to the back of the kitchen to get to the toilet. Wont come back.
