Escape to the mountains at Upward Way Cabin, a charming rustic log cabin offering privacy, plenty of outdoor space, and all the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing getaway. With accommodations for up to five guests, our cabin features a private hot tub, pool table, seasonal gas fireplace, outdoor gas fire table, and three inviting levels to enjoy. Fast and free WIFI access. Sorry, but our cabin is not pet friendly.

Located approximately 10 minutes from downtown West Jefferson, Upward Way Cabin offers a peaceful mountain setting while keeping you within easy driving distance of Boone and Blowing Rock.

Important Notes: This cabin is access by a steep graveled driveway. We do not recommend low profile vehicles. Our cabin is not motorcycle or trailer friendly. Chains and/or 4WD/AWD with good tires are strongly recommended for stays during November through April.

Main Level
The main level welcomes you with a comfortable living room featuring a seasonal gas fireplace and Smart TV—the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the High Country. Doors lead directly to the covered back deck, where you can unwind and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

The fully stocked kitchen includes a gas stove, regular drip coffee maker, crockpot, blender, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The dining table seats four, with additional seating available at the kitchen island.

The spacious main-floor bedroom features:

Upper Level
Upstairs, the open sleeping loft provides additional accommodations with:

Lower Level Game Room

***The cabin is access by state maintained paved roads. However, it may be necessary to have 4X4 vehicles with tire chains during the winter months.
***The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home. One camera facing the front driveway and one camera on lower back deck facing the steps.
***There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
***No Smoking inside the cabin
***Minimum age requirement is 25 years old
