Our host was tremendous, recommending great places for dinner and making us feel very welcome. Next time we’ll stay longer and bring the boat since the home has a private slip.“

The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back!“

„The host is kind and accommodating, check in and out was super easy, and the lake veiw is beautiful. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The floore was pretty dirty, definitely leave shoes on inside, but it did seem to partially be from renovations.“

„This was a lovely get away from the city - about 4 hours from Chicago with an easy drive. It's a new to renting so we were one of the first renters. It's in great shape, it has a grill and the kitchen utensils meant for cabin life. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We enjoyed the calls of the loons, the dock and the fire pit. The only draw back (which is also a plus for a nature escape) is that it took about 30m minutes to get to town so come prepared with food for the ...

„Loved our stay here! While everyone else was suffering from heat and humidity we were cool and having fun on the lake! The views were beautiful, there were so many access points to view and visit the lake. The kids had a blast catching frogs, fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The owners were friendly and responsive. We felt so lucky to have this treasure shared with us so that we could experience it and make our own memories here!“
