« Great stay in a beautifully presented cottage, highly recommend Melfort village. Second stay in the village first time in this cottage - fantastic »

« Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). All in all just a...

« This is the second time we have stayed in walled garden.cottage no. 2. My two grandchildren love it but.I think maybe it could.do with a.wee freshen.up. On the other hand I cannot praise your customer service highly enough, especially one of your reception staff named Alwyn. She was the nicest , most helpful lady I have ever come across. I will definitely be back . »

« Excellent and relaxing short break at a very good price. The resort is very dog friendly and the staff are extremely helpful. »

« As always our stay was very pleasant. The cottage was comfortable. I noticed that no one filled the bird feeders during our stay which is very unusual as I always think that is so nice. »

« We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended. »

« An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake. Our kids were very happy to play in front of the house too. We have stayed in late October but otherwise the patio table would be a perfect place to have your morning coffee ☕️ ! There...

« We had a fabulous time, the staff at Melfort ensure their visitors have a lovely break. The cottage and grounds are always immaculate and there is so much to do in Argyll and Bute. We would thoroughly recommend the resort and the area. »

« We have stayed several times at Melfort Village and always love it. Friendly staff, comfortable cottages-especially enjoy the log fires-and our dog is welcome although unfortunately the on site restaurant is no longer dog friendly. »

« Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. Ein wenig getrübt wurde der Aufenthalt dadurch, dass ständig gelüftet werden muss, weil das Holzhaus sonst etwas muffig riecht. Dass bei dem üppigen Mietpreis der Strom noch extra dazukommt, ist etwas übertrieben. »

« Beautiful cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and the stream behind and private garden was a treat. The facilities as always are wonderful and I hope that the shower of herring is open fully next year. »
