Nice place to relax and unwind with family and friends. The place is equipped with state of the art appliances including WiFi.
I will surely recommend to friends and families.
My husband and I stayed with another couple. It is easy to find and in a lovely wooded setting with a swing on the front porch and a firepit in the back. The master bedroom is upstairs with a bath and there are two bedrooms downstairs with queen size bunks and a single bed. Surprisingly, the bottom queen bunk was very comfortable for me and my husband. The kitchen is very organized with plenty of dishes, glasses, and utensils. Everything is labeled, from kitchen shelves to light switches. Beautiful location and very comfortable home. The host is very available which is so nice.
Cabin looks better in person than in pictures. Nice kitchen and living room. TV worked well. Nice comfortable beds. Fire pit outside was nice. About 25ish minutes to Bar Harbor and Walmart in Ellsworth was less time. Had problem with the shower having no hot water in the lower floor, a worker was called in to fix the problem quickly. The lower closet was also had a little bit of water on the floor and we the day we lefte finally figured out the upper shower leaked when it was running. We reported that as well. The company is really good about coming out to work on the issues. The road driving in from the paved road is a bit bumpy, but no big deal. The living room has it's own split AC which was nice to make things really cool. We opened the windows in the bedrooms to feel the cool air outside. Everything was really nice and convenient. Kitchen had everything needed. Nice appliances. Lots of towels. Overall very comfortable place to stay when visiting Bar Harbor and surrounding area. We underestimated how long it would take to Acadia, there is so much there to see and we could have visited there a few more days, we have Acadia like 2 and a half days. Bar Harbor is great for shopping and eating and other coastal activities like lobster fishing tours and the land bridge. So much to do there, great trip.
Property was exactly as advertised, beautiful log home, great location, quiet. Unfortunately the management company did not find a serious shower leak and rather gross oven. (They did clean it up when it was pointed out). The leak was eventually fixed however communication was poor.
Four city ladies, we loved the location, super clean. Hated that every window and door was unlocked except the front on arrival. The back door would not latch. VRBO informed. He fireplace was âoff limitsâ based on a written note found on the refrigerator on arrival which was disappointing, however what was worse was the controller of the next thermostat. 62-65 is not comfortable when it is 30 degrees out. I believe they finally understood that in the last night. Ps. Two bags of garbage were put in the basement which was very strange as well. They were not there on night one. Otherwise, location and Acadia were beautiful.
We all love the cabin a lot. It is very nice designed. Itâs very private too. All kids love the wooden bunk bed. The only issue was we lost power at one point and it would take over an hour to reach property manager over the phone.
There were 10 of us, all adults and there are enough beds for all of us. At the beginning I couldnât find all the beds from the video tour, so for reference they have one bedroom with a king size bed on the 2nd floor, then two bedrooms on the 1st floor. Between them 1 bedrooms has a bunker bed with 1 queen size and 1 twin size bed that can sleep 3 people, the other one has a bunker bed with 2 queen size bed and a separate single size bed, so together can sleep 5 people. The cabin is located at a quite neighborhood and we can actually see the Milky Way! Itâs not too far from the national park and the kitchen has everything you need. The two bathrooms are a little bit old and small though but we are not asking for too much. In general great experience for us and we will definitely come back!
This was just what we had needed ... We hadn't seen family in such a long time and we were able to spend several days together and enjoying beautiful Maine, and each others company. Everyone had their privacy, and the cabin worked out perfectly for our needs.
This property was overall great. The water pressure is extremely low and the hot water runs out easily. There were 5 of us and we had to plan strategically when to take showers and when to run the dishwasher. The kitchen has the bare minimum. The write up said there was a coffee pot but there was only a keurig. We brought coffee and filters, so we had to purchase an inexpensive coffee pot to use. The listing should say keurig , so guests can bring the appropriate form of coffee. The fire pit was great, but the lawn was super tall that we had to walk through to get to it. They had 2 comfortable chairs for it,but there were 5 of us. A few tweaks and this property would be perfect.
