Ce quatre chambres trois salles de bains Maison dispose de deux chambres familiales généreuses, chacune avec sa propre cuisine. Les autres équipements incluent une terrasse à chaque étage. La chambre avec lits superposés sur le thème de la mer est parfaite pour les enfants, tandis que la suite principale dispose d’une douche séparée et d’une baignoire à jets. Mais la meilleure partie de la Retraite de Hogan est l'emplacement. Étapes de la plage ou au supermarché et à distance de marche de la Tybee Island Social Club, Sting Ray et les attractions touristiques et la vie de nuit sur le quai font de cet endroit idéal pour se détendre. Et ne soyez pas timide au sujet apportant vos amis à fourrure. Nous leur souhaitons la bienvenue et notre entièrement clôturé dans les portes arrière de triage et le chien rendra ce que beaucoup de vacances pour les chiens car il est pour vous.

Location can't be beat. Very responsive for more towels, etc. Very comfy beds, plenty of room for all 12 of us. That being said...several things such as the upstairs dishwasher, stove and hood were not working properly. The bunkroom TV & VCR on main floor were not working. No instruction with tv's. Unable to use pool because heater was not working properly. Weather kept us in 1 day so these things would have been helpful. A really good updating would have to occur for us to book again.

We were 4 adults staying for 7 nights and had a very nice stay. Beach access is great and there are tons of beach toys and a cart provided (cart needs some love). There are chairs, as well, tho we rented chairs and umbrellas locally. Beds were very nice and plenty of linens provided. Downstairs kitchen great for storage, but not really equipped for anything else. Upstairs LR, kitchen and master were spacious and clean. A few things kept this from getting a 5 rating:Leaky shower door, unless you slam and maneuver it just the right way. Rusted and non-functioning fixtures, peeling paint, mold in tub surrounds, drooping electrical lines in front (chest high), missing or badly installed stovetop knobs, missing drawer front, general junky and disorganized storage areas.We enjoyed our stay and would consider this rental again with some improvements.

Hogan's Retreat Rocks

The place is well kept and located in a great spot near the beach. The recently added pool is a huge upgrade and really helped us enjoy our stay in the particularly hot Tybee weather. Would highly recommend!

Convenient

Property is easy to get to, convenient to beach, convenient to grocery, convenient to restaurants. It could use a little paint but overall very nice, condo had a great layout for my family of 12, pool is good, kids loved it.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay. This was our second time and liked some of the updates. House had almost everything we needed, maybe a few more spoons. Pool added so much to the trip. One of my grands actually learned to put his face in the water and dove on down. It was great Plenty of beach towels and beach toys. Would definitely recommend. Close to everything

2024 Family Beach Trip

The House was a little dated, but that's understandable when its pet Friendly. The location was AMAZING! We were so close to the beach. The pool was perfect. We were in it every day. We also rented the golf cart with the house, which was nice to cruise around the Island. The house had all the amenities we needed. We did not need to use the room on the bottom floor, although we did open it to use the bathroom while in the pool. It did have a musty smell to it. Getting in touch with the property managers was easy and quick. All in all, this house was great for our family. We will definitely be back.

Great location

Proximity to the beach was fantastic! Spacious upper floor for our group of 9 was great for gathering and socializing. Plenty of bathroom and beach towels. Plastic dining chairs were unstable and most were missing one screw. Carried up wooden chairs from middle floor to use instead. There were a few practical kitchen things missing: no pot holders and only one kitchen towel so we used bathroom handtowels; kitchen lacked measuring spoons and cups which was difficult because we were there over Thanksgiving. Good stay, but a few simple improvements that would have made it even better.

Amazing Location

We loved our stay at the property. You are a few steps to the 11th street beach entrance which makes getting to the beach so easy. This is also one of my favorite streets on Tybee; you’re far enough from the pier for it to feel relaxed but close enough to walk places. I was also very surprised by the size of the pool. In the pictures it appears tiny but we we’re able to comfortably fit 10 people in the pool. We probably enjoyed the beach and pool equally on the trip. The beds were very comfortable and I thought the kids bunk bed room was very cute. There’s some wear and tear on the property which should be addressed( floors need redoing and bathrooms could use some updating; lounger needed to be fixed). The upstairs has been updated and had a great sized table for us to enjoy dinner together. We loved have 2 spaces for the adults and the kids to hang out in. I’d definitely recommend this spot for groups (we had 6 kids and 6 adults). I also appreciate the communication throughout the trip - the management company was responsive and very helpful. Thank you for making this a wonderful vacation for our family and friends!

Beautiful, comfortable house

I loved this property. The proximity to the beach made a huge difference in how often we went down there, and it was really nice to swim and cool off in the pool. It was also convenient to the IGA and Tybrisa St. It was very roomy and clean. My only suggestions would be some nightlights and smoke detectors. But we very much enjoyed our stay. Hope to be back.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The location is perfect and the company was very attentive! We had everything we needed and lots of beach supplies were available for use! The only issue was parking and our inability to use the garage initially because the golf cart vehicle blocked the entrance. They moved it promptly and promised to cover any associated tickets because of having to park off property.

Great stay on a very HOT week!

We had a very good experience staying at Hogan's Retreat. The house was very spacious and perfect for our family. We were just a short walk to the beach and the pool was great for the kids. There were a few things that need some attention like a broken drawer in the master bath, broken lounges by the pool and light switches that need labeled, but overall it was great. I realize they can't put a lot of detail in the description so I'll put some things here to help people know what to pack. The coffee maker is drip, not keurig, bring hot pads, there is one 9x13 and a few cookie sheets, there are nice pans, but no stock pot, no small spoons, which was only a problem for our 3 yr old. Also the golf cart is parked so that you can't use the garage for parking. We asked that it be moved and never heard back. It really didn't end up being a problem, but if you have more than 3 cars, it would be. All in all this was one of the best equipped VBRO's that we have stayed at. Thanks so much!

Annual family vacation was great! We loved the house and the location. The house was a little dated, but plenty big and very clean! We had some problems with a breaker tripping the first day, and the property management company responded immediately and sent someone right over!

Perfect location! Great Property Management Group!

Ideal location with plenty of parking. House is a perfect multi-generational set up with two distinct living areas. Pool is a big hit. Property management group was great to work with. Extremely responsive and pleasant!! We have already rented it again for next year. A couple of notes: house does not provide a blender. Also the stairs can become quite steep for older people.

Disappointing at this price point

Pros: Location great. Very close to restaurants, beach, and anywhere you want to go walking. The pool is very nice and we enjoyed it, except sadly on the last day, the pool company treated with chemicals rendering it useless until after 7:00pm. Cons: Basement/ detached room issues-not advertised well. Puddle in front of garage bedroom the entirety of our stay. Breaker tripped multiple times over the course of the week. There was no reason for this to have happened so many times other than that room is pulling too much power for that breaker. Lighting was poor (no light over the sink). Vent fan/light in bathroom did not work. Lacking furniture/anywhere to hang clothing. Dehumidifier was very noisy with an alarm that sounded when full, waking us up in the middle of the night multiple times. Window a/c unit in the only window of that bedroom made it very dark. Overhead light full of dead bugs. Pool issues: Broken pool lounger and bench. Main part of house: In general, the entire house was dated and run down, including floors, most furniture, cabinetry missing knobs or damaged, light bulbs out, some outlets didn’t work, double oven didn’t work, noisy ceiling fans, and poor lighting. Reported several things on day 2 only to get a “thank you for bringing to our attention.” Would not stay here again at this price.
