The first two nights of our 7 night stay was great. The studio is clean, decorated nicely. and in a great location. But unfortunate the boiler/heat of the studio did not function properly. It was uncomfortably cold by the third night. The studio thermostat was reading 57 degrees. Too cold to sleep!! When contacting the owner, she was well aware that the heat didn’t work properly and told us to use the small space heater that was located in the closet. The owner informed us that the boiler of the 4-plex couldn’t keep up with the cold temperature for this time of year. The studio warmed up that night to 62 degrees. Then the next day the studio was at 59 degrees. We asked for a refund and she said, she would only refund two nights out of the 4 nights we had left. Diane had a lack of integrity. She knew the heat didn’t work properly but still rented out her place without informing us that the heat didn’t work. Then would not refund us. Instead she offered us to move to another Vrbo of hers. Why didn’t she just put us in the Vrbo that had proper heat in the first place instead of the one with the broken heat? Moving in the middle of our vacation was a headache. She should have disclosed that the heat did not properly work!! It put a damper on our Christmas vacation!
