Hôtel avec une étoile en trop !
Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel Nous avions demandé par mail s’il existait une navette en provenance de l’aéroport Nous n’avons eu aucune réponse et il fallu que l’on se débrouille par nos propres moyens en sachant qu’il est nécessaire de prévoir des dollars pour payer le taxi Nous avons trouvé notre chambre trop petite et pas d’espace pour poser les valises Le restaurant est de faible qualité et très cher nous n’avons pas terminé notre plat le dernier soir On vous propose un buffet qui est trop cher En définitif, il s’agit d’une cantine au prix d’un gastronomique.

bien que le diner buffet ne mérite pas les 35usd, je tiens a dire que l'hotel est tres agreable, bien situé et le personnel super sympa.

Hôtel agreable situé au bord du zambeze il propose un grand choix d'excursion pour tous les goûts. les chambres un peu petite restent confortables. Un service de navettes gratuites est mis en place pour nous rapprocher de la ville, et le service et le personnel est impeccable.

Chambre petite et balcon commun. Loin de la ville et des chutes. Mais sympa de voir phacos et antilope brouter devant la chambre, personnel aux petits soins, nourriture excellente ( le croco est vraiment delicieux) et un service de navette fait gracieusement la liaison avec la ville et les chutes.

Sur le bord du Zambèze, superbe !
Excellente impression. Ce n'est pas le plus proches des chutes, le transport officiel vous coûtera 30 dollars. Ensuite, vous pouvez profiter amplement de votre séjour et booker des excursions ou l'on viendra vous chercher. Le cadre est magnifique. Les chambres sont vraiment tout confort et les habitants du Zimbabwe vous enchanteront par leur gentillesse.

Hôtel impeccable, propre et confortable mais pas de magie... Tout le confort d'un hôtel 4/5 étoile très aseptisé. Comparé aux autres hôtels avoisinants pas de vue sur la faune sauvage environnante, dommage.

Une vue magnifique sur le Zambezi River
L'accueil du personnel, le lieux, tout a contribuer à nous faire passer de très beaux moments. Le A'Zambezi Lodge est situé à quelques km des chutes mais le long de la rivière, et un shuttle est disponible pour vous amener et ramene de la ville.

Large well maintained grounds. Reception Staff was very attentive. Joseph was especially kind and helpful. Room was small but offered great views Ann was comfortable for two. Lee, dining room host was wonderful. Shuttle service was a bonus to get to and from various locations. Victor from Heritage booked several activities and cabs for us. He was always available to assist. On-site dining was excellent with breakfast buffet included with our booking level. Highly recommend this place.

This hotel is fantastic if you love nature . It is outstanding . Hippo grazing outside our hotel window, we saw meerkat , warthog , buffalo, deer and baboons all in the hotel grounds at evening and night , this property is not fenced off the animals come to you . The bar closes at 10pm so you are back in your room soon after , there is a shop but it only sells trinkets and clothing stuff , I saw toothpaste but that was all , nothing of any kind to eat or drink , no bottled water , no crisps or snacks , if you want bottled water you pay at the bar , the food is not very good . We are vegetarian and what we got was horrible , over cooked pasta and all the stuff on the buffet was help yourself but nothing I ate was nice and it’s a fortune . We were £60 for the two of us and we ate chocolate in our room as soon as we got back . The restaurant is also outside and rather dark with insects going about which is expected so why they done have the seating inside is something I don’t understand , but the nature beats the food easily at this hotel

Very quiet location during low season but staff excellent and excellent in terms of recommendations and arranging various outings. Restaurant is located overlooking the River in an outdoor setting. Food was good and plentiful. I’d recommend the hotel as a ‘Value for Money’ stay while in Victoria Falls

Not good quality of service or tooms
Slow service. Activities we were told via messages on Hotels.com that were booked for us in advance, we’re not actually booked and prices quoted were wrong. Tried to put us in rooms of less quality than what we pre paid for. Room had missing refrigerator, melted hair dryer, non working phone & reeked of cigarette smoke.

Good location and staff. Beds not so much...
The staff was very helpful even switching us to a new room when a chain-smoking, cancer-in-waiting person checked in to the room next door and spent his holiday on the shared balcony keeping big tobacco in business. The grounds are well maintained. The location is very good relative to Victoria Falls and Zambezi National Park. The staff did, however, leave the lights on every time they cleaned the room. Thus the eco-friendly rating of a 3. The bed was very uncomfortable. It was simply too small for 2 people to sleep comfortably. Make sure to book breakfast when booking the hotel unless you like paying $30/person for french toast, eggs, and bacon.

The property is beautiful. Neat, clean rooms and the staff are very nice. My only bane would be that the shower in the room I stayed in didn't have a soap holder. It broke and I don't think they've bothered to fix it. Had a great stay, still.

A riverfront gem on the mighty Zambezi river.
We had a wonderful stay at A'Zambezi River Lodge. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi river with beautiful river views. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and linen spotless. The food was good and the chef made us delicious meals that we pre-arranged for our party of six. The hotel is understaffed due to covid and few overseas visitors but they are doing a great job looking after their guests. Highly recommend this establishment.

I stayed for 3 nights, which is probably longer than most people, and probably more than was necessary as all the 'must see' sites are very close by and can be visited in 1 day. The staff were very friendly and the resort very relaxed with a nice swimming pool.

Location, location, experience
wow! Wake up and have breakfast alongside the Zambezi river. River cruise from your doorstep. Hippos within a few meters monkeys outside your room and beside the pool. Room was getting a bit on the dated side but who cares for this location. Shuttle bus to town Airport shuttle costs extra, beware seems everyone in town is on the take and the tipping culture is rife. Not a cheap place to visit.

Decidedly mediocre.
Hotel didn’t have any amenities or perks that made us glad we stayed there. The front desk and front end people were great but 90% of the restaurant staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them when we asked for anything (including and coffee which they asked us if we wanted). The white sheets in our bedroom didn’t look or feel clean and had a weird Velcro attachment on it right at the part near the pillow which irritated our skin.

Lovely modern rooms, great food with such a huge variety. Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable dinners which included traditional entertainment. Activities close by and free shuttle in and out of the Vic Falls village.

Good Hotel for affordable price. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathroom was spacious. Restaurants had good food options.
