They can take my two dogs who are just as part of the family. Jon Mahoney is a wonderful Person to deal with. He’s always there for us and has all the answers to our questions. Absolutely love the Cabin.“

„If you want the sound of real rushing water to fall asleep by, come to River Peace. Indoors or on the screened porch or on the deck, the McKenzie river is always with you. The kitchen is new and the mini split was welcome on one 100 degree day, while the traditional wood walls and built ins evoke a well loved family heirloom. We spent our time there outdoors listening to the river…great communication with the proprietors and easy check-in and out procedures..“

„Beautiful cabin just above the McKenzie river. Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. While visiting the area, we rafted and enjoyed several beautiful hikes. We also had a great meal at the Obsidian Grill....highly recommend! The only advice I would give to visitors is to ensure you get any provisions you may need well before you get there. The closest large grocery store is 45 minutes to one hour. Also, there's no laundry, so plan accordingly. “

The weather was perfect so the porch was our favorite place; with its perfect view of the river, it was where we relaxed, spent hours talking and ate in style. As a cook, the kitchen had not only everything I needed, but had quality equipment - a true delight to cook in. And nearby restaurants and store filled in our "food" ...

„I am a lifelong Oregonian and yet I haven't really spent much time exploring the Mckenzie River area. This cabin was in a great location, right on the river and so close to hot springs and beautiful hiking. It was quiet, quaint, and had all the kitchen supplies we needed to eat at the cabin. The screened in porch was a dream, so nice to drink our coffee and read in the morning. It felt pretty private even though there were other cabins on the premises. We really enjoyed our stay.“

„This property was perfect for us and what we needed. The host was great, responsive and friendly. Pay attention to the driveway directions, it can be tricky the first time. We enjoyed our stay and truly appreciate a host that allows dogs 💕“
