Un bon hôtel mais pas un palace
Les pour : localisation top et centrale, personnel à l’accueil adorable. Nous étions avec un bébé de 8 mois et des peluches étaient offertes dans son lit à notre arrivée, ce qui est une délicate attention. Le restaurant Pastamara est délicieux. Spa très agréable et massages très professionnels. Grandes chambres avec de l’espace, bonne literie. Les contre : nous avions choisi cet hôtel entre autres car un service de baby-sitting était indiqué, mais ce n’est pas vraiment le cas. Nous voulions visiter la Spanish riding school interdite aux enfants et le concierge n’a pas pu nous trouver de baby-sitter. L’hôtel « travaille » visiblement avec des personnes faisant partie d’un organisme de baby-sitting (ce n’est pas tres clair) mais plus de 24h après notre demande, nous n’avions aucun retour et avons donc préféré annuler notre visite. Dommage. Il y a peu de transats près de la piscine ce qui limite son accessibilité. Le ménage est parfois fait « rapidement » (j’ai retrouvé des bouts de croissant sur la moquette, pas très grave mais bon…)

En effet le service de babysitting est un standardMarriott Bonvoy et nos concierges peuvent vous transmettre les numéros de babysitter avec lesquelles nous travaillons. Nous nous excusons du désagrément que vous avez subi et nous ferons en sorte de rendre cela soit plus clair afin que cela ne se reproduise plus. Nous transmettons également votre commentaire à notre service d’housekeeping. Overall excellent hotel. The rooms are a good size by European standards. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, in particular Alejandro at the VIP Lounge was extremely helpful and welcoming. Thank you Alejandro! I hope we can find other Alejandros at other Ritz hotels😃

A Disappointing Dip from Luxury Expectations
My experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, was disappointing, highlighting several areas where the hotel falls short of luxury standards. Issues: Comfort: Missing floor heating in the bathroom was a notable discomfort. Noise: Inadequate soundproofing led to disturbances from adjoining rooms. Cosmetic Product Quality: The provided cosmetic products were of poor quality. Lavatory Issues: The absence of hot water in the lavatory made it impossible to shave comfortably, a significant inconvenience. Overall: The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, lacks in crucial luxury elements, from room amenities to basic utilities, overshadowing its prestigious name

When I checked in, I was not notified that breakfast came with the room I made a spa reservation for a service weeks in advance and found out as I was checked in to the spa that I could not get the facial, the appropriate staff was not there. The manager was extremely apologetic and certainly made up for it. This is not something I would expect from the Ritz Carlton. The private tub was not working. I had dinner at the bar and asked for certain things with my burger and the waiter forgot everything I asked for. The TV was unplugged. I have stayed at several Ritz Carlton properties all over the world and this was by far the worst one.
