„Overall nice room, great location but disappointed with Expedia inflating the price of breakfast. Hotel charge £13pp served at the pub across the road (fab breakfast) we were charged £27pp“

„Lovely hosts who had plenty of useful knowledge. Great breakfast which kept us going all day. Comfy bed. Lots of nice pictures and ornaments throughout the house. Big brollies came in very useful too.“

„Excellent stay at the Windermere suite. The room was spotless and really nice. Ray & Wong were excellent hosts and helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and delivered to your room and even accommodating for my wife who is gluten intolerant. Loads of parking on site and really close to the centre and Bowness.“

„The owners and the staff are extremly polite and customer-friendly. Very patient with kids. The check-in was very detailed and helpful Food and beverages meet high standards. Breakfast freshly made. The lodge itself is beautiful and in very good conditions. Rooms are spacious and clean. Located near to multiple points of interest. “

„Good location easy to get to keswick and right on the bus route Right next to the start of thirlmere infinity pool Hotel is tired in bathroom but we did have a dog room Staff great and very helpful and breakfast was good too Cant complain :)“

„Our room was spacious and it was quiet after dinner hours. The hosts were exceptionally generous and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful room. Great place to stay in the Lake District!“

„There were many issues with our stay here. 1. The owners messed with our stuff while we were out. 2. The toilet could only be flushed about 1x per hour. The owner said this was normal. 3. They do not even serve breakfast much less have a free one. 4. There is no airflow in the rooms and they do not have fans. While this is a relatively cheap place to stay, you will likely pay with a lack of comfort“

„The owners were lovely. The place was clean and well located. The dining room with fridge and facilities was a great resource. Fantastic stay - highly recommended!“

„Beispiellos schöner Urlaub, unser Gastgeber Kim und Helen haben uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und uns bei jeder nur erdenklichen Möglichkeit geholfen. Wir können das Glencree Lakes wärmstens empfehlen!“

„spotlessly clean, very friendly staff in a great location. Mountain View room excellent.Ev charger a big plus for us. Will definitely return.“
