First and foremost, I’ll say the house is in a great location and the beds are comfortable, BUT, we encountered many issues and most fall on the management team.
1. There was NO heat our first night. The PM brought us space heaters, but with them it was below 65 in the bedrooms and 58 in the rest of the house. They did send two separate companies the next day and got the heat working, but this was completely unavoidable. We came to find out one unit was replaced and both were “serviced”. Well, the one t-stat was wired incorrectly and the other had I believe a burnt contractor. Had the management company bothered to test them, this could have been avoided.
2. The door from the family room to the main deck has no handle and extremely wobbly in the track. You have to shimmy it and use excessive force to open. The door off the master also would not open. I’d have to check fire codes, but it is an extremely unsafe situation.
3. The posting in the house and the email instructions we were given for the WiFi were not accurate so we had to wait a day to get that information.
4. Lightbulbs missing, remotes without batteries, error message on the tv you had to wait 45 seconds to clear when turning on.
5. One bathroom downstairs with warm never hot water.
It seems if someone from management had done some QC, all of these issues could and well should have been addressed prior to our stay. We asked for a one night stay credit and have yet to receive a call or email.
