And the cleanliness of the pillows, and comfort of the mattresses could be greatly improved. It was a nice surprise to have an Nespresso machine and capsules. And it worked out just fine for our one night stay during a family wedding at the Sayville resort. »

« This is a pet and family friendly home however the listing does not tell you that you have to share the backyard with the occupants of the garden cottage. The lovely beach is close by but we were told to walk through the overgrown woods to get there and 5 out of the 8 of us got ticks on them. A neighbor informed us we could rather walk down very nice wooden stairs to the beach. The property owner should have informed us. The house is very hot with no central air conditioning. « Big, clean space with lots of amenities. Our party of ten stayed here two nights to celebrate two friends’ birthdays and had a great time watching movies, playing games (pool table on the main floor), and cooking together in the spacious kitchen. If we came in the summer, we definitely would have used the outdoor grill fire pit and pool as well. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, with several even getting their own room. « This property is beautiful and the host was very responsive. We were in town for a funeral so unfortunately wasnt able to enjoy the house as much as I would have liked to. The view is breathtaking, we saw deer, wild turkeys, swans and more. I would suggest kids 8 would be better suited. I had to chase my little around to ensure they weren't touching or playing with any of the decorations. Plenty of bathrooms and counter space. No cell reception but the Wi-Fi worked throughout the whole home....
