The bed was amazing and I could have sat looking out of the window the whole time I was there. A stunning location that is central to many wonderful places and the most amazing scenery. « I don't know where to start I wish we were staying longer. From arriving, being settling in, the meals, the service, the locals, the surrounding area, was just all perfect. We will definitely be returning in the future when we in the area again, very gutted it is so far from our home otherwise it went would be visiting more often. »

« 5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. »
« A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking »
« Excellent budget stay. I was the only person in an 8-bed dorm, and was one of only two people using the communal facilities on the night of my visit. Excellent hostel facilities and good systems in place. »
« Great stay for two night break on the coast to Coast trail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Friday nights are very loud with karaoke so be prepared! Food was good, but basic pub food. Breakfast had several choices and the avocado and poached egg was especially good. There's an awesome Indian restaurant called the mango tree just a few buildings down. Laundromat behind the Black Bull hotel which was very convenient. About 6 pounds to run the washer and one or two for the dryer. There's a tourist...
