We truly loved the location of this house and the views were outstanding. There are a few items in the house that are in major need of updating. The beds are extremely old and uncomfortable and blankets are very worn. The house overall has an odd smell, and the cranks have been removed from every window so you were unable to open any window to air out. All TVs are extremely dated and only could air a few basic channels when you could figure out the multiple remotes. Bring dvds to watch at night! No wifi enabled speaker system to play music through the house so also bring a speaker if music is your thing (it is ours). That being said, the location and views are stunning and very traditional Cape Cod. With a few minor updates this house could be excellent. We had a great time, the kitchen was well stocked for entertaining and very well laid out. Upstairs could only suit one family with kids, as the second and third bedrooms are open to each other and share a bathroom only accessible from the far bedroom. View from the upstairs bedrooms is beautiful. Having the kayaks and rowboat are a great added plus, and the walk to the beach was lovely. Town is about a 5 minute drive. Beach was a 20 minute walk, or a 5-10 minute bike ride. Sunsets from the deck are gorgeous!

Beautiful house in great location

Lovely house, with lots of space and a very large kitchen. Best part, as others have written, is the location overlooking a beautiful estuary. Very close to a nice beach as well.

Family vacation

We have rented several houses in the area over the years and this is the best place we've ever stayed in. It is clean, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking a family dinner, the furniture is comfortable and nothing is broken. The view from the house is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. We were able to paddle board off the dock in the evenings and enjoy sunsets on the back deck. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Great location and wildlife; awesome kitchen

There is a lot to like about this property: if you are a wildlife enthusiast, you will be super happy with this house. As noted, it is located on a pond, and there is an abundance of wildlife. As the tide ebbs and flows, you can observe the natural rhythm of the environment. My wife and I spent hours sitting on the deck watching the amazing wildlife. There were only 2 of us, so we had more than enough room in this expansive house. The kitchen is outstanding and is at gourmet chef level. The sitting areas on the main level are comfy, with large windows on all sides of the house so that you can enjoy the amazing views of the pond. I must say that the towels provided are skimpy--there was only one kitchen dish towel, so we had to use towels that were intended for bathroom use. Since there were only 2 of us, it wasn't a problem to use the small hand/face towels that were intended for the bathroom in the kitchen. We also thought that the quality of the towels and bed linen was lackluster. We are not looking for super premium quality towels or bed linen, but it is worth noting that the covering on the two queen beds is a thin sub-quality blanket. The comforters on the three twin beds is of better quality. Note that the mattresses on the queen beds is super firm! If you like beds with super hard mattresses, then you will be psyched. However, if you prefer a tad more supple to your mattress, then it will be a challenge. Interacting with the management company (Vacasa) was not as great as dealing directly with an owner. I have stayed in many properties around the world where I have interacted directly with the owner, and the experience has been excellent because the owner knows the house and truly cares that you have a good experience. In this instance, my dealings with Vacasa were not consistently good. They addressed an issue I had with the dishwasher, but did not address another issue. Overall however, I had a good week at the property. Would likely stay somewhere else though the next time I return to the Cape.

Beautiful View Beautiful Home

We were 6 adult family members vacationing together. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable time; cozy but at the same time plenty of space! The back deck has a lovely view of the inlet. Watching the tide come in and go out afforded us a display of bird life on the water and sandbars.

Fabulous location!

My husband and I spent three wonderful days at this home. The downstairs is extraordinary! So much glass looking out over an ever changing estuary, large kitchen, many indoor comfortable places to set and veg. And outdoors as well. The deck has plenty of chairs and I kayaked numerous time all around the estuary and to the near-by beach. The bird watching was great! My only complaints are around the bedding, not great linens and even worse pillows, but as we traveled by car, we brought our own pillows. The upstairs lay out of bedrooms is a bit odd, but as this visit was just for my husband and I, we were quite content. I would absolutely recommend this home (just bring your own pillows and eye shades).

Fabulous View

This is a terrific property in a lovely part of Chatham. It is located on a tidal river and the view changes hourly. It is walkable to the beach. The house features a very well equipped kitchen., comfortable furniture and beds. The one quirky aspect of the house is the “Jack and Jill” bathroom that connects the two queen size bedrooms. Need to share with very good friends or family.

The online pictures were true to life, the managing company, was super responsive, access to house was easy peazy, the location was ideal, the kayak rides to the beach were amazing, the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the view from the enormous deck was stunning

Lovely Cape Escape for our Family

This property was absolutely perfect for our family, as we wanted to enjoy quiet time by the water plus close proximity to downtown restaurants & shopping. Home is set back on an inlet/marsh in a small neighborhood. The views from the back deck and rear windows provide gorgeous views of the water and wildlife; perfect for drinking coffee or enjoying sunsets as the tide comes in and out throughout the day. Home was immaculate and well-stocked with the basics. Our only regret was that we didn't book the trip for a longer stay!

Picture perfect from every windoe

The views are amazing, from low to high tide, the sunsets and the birds. Fabulous to enjoy from deck or inside. House immaculate. Kitchen fantastic: everything you need to cook or bake is here plus it’s spacious and oh yes, that view! Great walks in this area - Would definitely return any season!

Incredible views

The house is lovely and open with plenty of space for a family. The kitchen is amazing and had everything we needed in order to cook at home. The views are incredible albeit the foggy mornings. We had lots of fun checking out the wildlife thanks to the binoculars! The location is perfect - very quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach (saving us having to get a pass) Would rent again.

Nice house, great location, great views

This house is located in a very nice neighborhood. First thing you notice when u walk into the house is the open layout with great views of the marsh. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Just a few squibbles. We couldn't find kitchen shears, the house should be stocked with more essentials, especially toilet paper and laundry detergent. Some of the lights were not functioning in upstairs bathroom and laundry room. At this price point, the TV's in the house should be equipped with basic cable. Otherwise the house was great and we would definitely rent again.

Harding Hills rental

The house was beautiful and location was incredible. Easy walk to the beach, quick drive to downtown Chatham as well as surrounding towns. The kitchen was huge and modern, and the back deck and views were amazing! The only thing getting in the way of a 5 star overall rating is that the landscaping, yard, back dock area were not as well kept as the house itself was. Just didn’t seem to fit with the neighborhood, locale, and price point. But that is an easy fix for an otherwise perfect house!

AC was broken. They sent a tech out who said the while system was shot. We called the service and they said they would call us back with options or a discount or something. Never heard from them. Also garbage was full when we arrived. No where to put our garbage. Otherwise lovely place
