LIVING SPACES The cozy living space includes a gas fireplace, a queen sofabed, and a 42" LCD TV. The dining nook has seating for up to 4 guests. The fully-equipped galley kitchen has full-sized appliances. The large top-floor balcony includes a private 6-person hot tub. Private washer/dryer.
BED and BATH The spacious master bedroom is on the main floor and has a Queen bed . The second bedroom is on the top floor and has a king bed that can be split into two singles as well as a 26" LCD TV. There is a queen sofabed in the living room. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned. Both full bathrooms have bathtubs with showers.
PARKING and AMENITIES Glaciers Reach #39 has a private hot tub on the deck. There is one free underground parking stall. ***Important: The shared pool and common hot tub are open for the summer season.***
DISTANCES The free Village shuttle stop is across the street and will take guests to the lifts in under 5 minutes. Golf is less than a 10 minute walk away and the lifts are less than a 10 minute walk away.

We had the most awesome trip to Whistler with our family! Our accommodation was perfect for us and provided everything we needed for a two stay. The kids loved our personal hot tub and then access to the shared hot pool. Catching the #4 to the slopes was totally fine or walking into the village is super easy. Being across the Marketplace also added ease for quick shops on supplies. It was great!

Great time!
Overall we had an awesome time.! A few things to point out…. Patio furniture (chairs) need replacing as they are all sagging and falling apart. It was very uncomfortable sitting outside in them.
The 2 single beds upstairs are great if your 5’10 or shorter…. Any taller and your feet will hang off the edge as these seemed more like kids beds.
Hot tub was great! Very clean and in great working order and the kitchen was well stocked. Both AC units kept the place nice and cool during the hot august heat. A bbq on the patio would have been a bonus as there was more then enough space for one.
Can’t wait to come back!

Our apartment was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. It appeared to have been renovated in the last few years and everything was in excellent condition with plenty of kitchen utensils, towels etc. If it was available, we would have stayed there longer, however Whistler Retreats were very helpful in finding us other accommodation when we decided to stay longer than originally planned.

Unit number 39 had all the amenities we wanted. A separate covered patio to sit out and relax on and a upper patio with a hot tub. the inside was nicely done with a more modern look. The location may not be for everyone but we like the more quite end of the village down by the grocery store. If looking to stay in the heart of the village then this is not the place.

Glacier Retreats was a top quality digs, with everything that we would need. Hottub was clean and well located. Balcony was good but some of the chairs were in disrepair. Beds and bathrooms were very good and clean. Washer dryer was very handy.Coffee machine leaked everywhere until we managed to fix one of the seals. Same with the dishwasher - a quick wipe round the door seal stopped it leaking. Main issue I found was giving credit card details over the phone only to gain the access codes, which incurred me with a £25 phone bill to do so.... Location was great for access to bikepark and v close to shops and bars.

Our stay was wonderful in every way - super close to everything we needed within one block, walkable to both Blackcomb and Whistler base areas. The private hot tub is lovely and the condo set up with two floors and plenty of room to spread out was perfect for our four person family with two teenagers. Highly recommend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway in #39

We were two couples looking for a nice relaxing weekend away from our busy lives in Vancouver and boy did we find it. The place was cozy but roomy and absolutely spotless which is important to me. The private hot tub was our favourite spot. It was on the balcony and completely secluded with a beautiful view of snowy mountains visible beyond the trees. Best part being that we could all relax in there with plenty of room to get really comfortable. We had a delicious dinner at 21 Steps a short 15minute walk away, in fact everything was a very close walk away. We left on Sunday morning with a smile on our face and the glow still lingers.

Not much privacy when it comes to hot tubs

The stay was good, not much privacy with the hot tubs as I would have liked. I payed for cleaning fee but yet I had to do dishes, take out my garbage to the garbage bins it wasn’t much relaxing for me as I felt like I was at home. I paid quite a bit for two nights so that part I was a little disappointed.

Clean, comfy and larger than we expected. Easy spot to walk into town from or the bus stop was just over the road. Really appreciated the extra space and quiet from not being right in the centre. Kids liked the hot tub and communal pool (gym and toilet facilities by the pool were in need of a refresh but didn’t worry us too much as went back to the apartment). Overall a great week skiing and a great base, would come back.

We really enjoy this unit. I think we’ve stayed there three times. It has everything we need. The only two problems I had were the dresser in the bedroom downstairs has been broken for over a year. The second was the cleanliness of the unit. Under the couch has obviously not been cleaned in a long time. It was gross under the couch. Everything else was bang on.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this unit. The first experience was great, however this time not so much. One morning we were awoken at 6am to an alarm going off in the upstairs bedroom. This scared us as we thought there was something seriously wrong. Not knowing if it was a smoke detector or carbon monoxide alarm we opened up the windows and door to ensure good ventilation. We called the property manager and they never got back to us after 3 attempts. Finally when we got home I called again and was told that apparently maintenance looked into it and it was fine and just a false alarm. However, no contact was made with myself as they called the unit phone and never left a message. In addition, the manager was quite short with me, giving me every excuse in the book and didn't seem to care all that much. She advised someone would reach out to me and to date I still haven't heard from anyone. Not to mention the quality and cleanliness of the unit has deteriorated since we last stayed there and the owners don't want to invest any money in there to fix it.

Our stay at Unit 39 (included 39A) was very nice ! The unit was very clean, the kitchen was very well stocked and it was a really quiet unit. We loved everything about it. The stairs inside, up to the 1st are and the top bedroom, balcony and hot tub are very narrow and steep .... so keep that in mind.
