Hotel Whitwell

« The tub had not been cleaned in months. Bed linens were not changed. They didnt smell clean, and there were body hairs all over them. Floors looked dingy. I don't know why all the reviews say that this place is clean. It was one of the grossest places I've ever stayed. »

« If this place offers breakfast, why were other guests hanging out and cooking breakfast outside my window? This place has the worst breakfast I’ve seen, dollar store pastries and not much else. The refrigerator door sticks open where the yogurts are kept and they were all spoiled. What you’d expect otherwise. »

« My (non-smoking) room reeked of smoke. By morning, my closed-up, sore throat and vampire-red eyes disclosed that some of the room’s stench was also from mold. »

« Cute remodeled hotel, but does not have standard amenities I am used to. You have to specifically ask / indicate you want your room cleaned, the tv was difficult to navigate and lacked various apps you would typically have available, I wasn’t able to readily locate the WiFi password, and there was a man’s hair in the bathtub before we used it. « The rooms were comfortable and clean. Tv channels had excellent selection. Location was convenient for the parks, caverns and waterfalls in area. Breakfast was also good. »

« The room was clean and had a microwave and refrig. Good TV. The entry room door had issues. The entry way was extremely small. I had to park in the main drive and block several cars while checking in. I was hauling a boat. I would have like to have 24 hour coffee available in the lobby as we often leave well before breakfast. The motel was pretty new and so the inside looked great. »

« Room was nice and big. Lounge chair was also huge. Bathroom was great size however needed a little extra scrub. Room was pretty spotless. The hallways are lined with carpet and the carpet has an oder. Great stay for great price. »
