« A very beautiful and unique spot! »

« The property is just as described and pictured, and everything was in working order. The Owner is very quick to respond to any communication. Less than 10 min. to Bellaire Mountain, and with a fireplace, would make a nice cabin for winter weekend ski getaways. It is small... We were 2 adults and one child--- adults took the bedroom and the child on the futon in the living room. 2 Adults and 2 children would probably max the space; although more could fit it might not be very comfortable....

« This cute, comfortable cottage is a great home base to explore the Catskills in all directions. While we did not cook on this trip, the kitchen is well stocked with kitchen ware. The washer/dryer was a great help to refresh clothes for flying home. »

« A wonderful cabin in a beautiful spot. The deck was fabulous and the yard was great to have kids run around in (and star gaze at night!). Great mix of amenities that made it very easy to stay. »

« Everything it’s described to be; quiet, private, well equipped, comfortably furnished. Cooking, grilling steaks, relaxing on the porch, enjoying coffee in the morning, building a fire in the fireplace in the evening, listening to the sound of a rushing stream below, really all we hoped for. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for such a quiet, secluded retreat. The proprietor was readily available with helpful advice. « We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect! »

« Really lovely place in the town of Hunter. Very modern, with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and laundry facilities. Plenty of space - six could sleep comfortably. Our host was extremely helpful and easy. Would definitely stay here again, I bet it's gorgeous during the winter months! »

« House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids. »

« The house is so modern and has everything you need. I came here with my husband, my parents and our dog for two nights and it was perfect. House was very clean with very clean bedding and towels which was fantastic. Huge back, front and side yard for entertainment of any kind. The one and only thing is that there isnt an AC unit in the rooms so I wish there was a fan but we left the window open overnight and it was perfect. « My family enjoyed a relaxing extended weekend stay. Cabin is in an awesome location, close proximity to NY28. Property is on a dead end block which offers lots of privacy, with the tranquil sound of the creek in the background. We look forward to returning soon. »
