« The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

The property is on a corner so you have access to Eagle Lake and also access to the channel leading to Catfish lake. Very nice sunsets. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. »

« Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique. The beds are crazy comfortable, bunk room in great condition with lockers and vanity mirrors, showers and bathrooms in perfect...
