« My friend, I & great nephew 13yrs enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this property. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated though the white furniture could do with a lick of paint. « The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. « Location was hard to find, had to ask someone in a local shop. It is not accessible and up cobbled steps. We had two dogs and a 6 month old in a pram so that was difficult to navigate. « 10 members from 2 families had a wonderful half term break . The accommodation was very spacious as was the outside area with a heated swimming pool ,tennis court and croquet lawn and garden area .It was the perfect place to explore the surrounding area and then come back for us all to play tennis or have a swim . We were sent wrong apartment number so spent an hour trying to find 18 when in fact flat was 22.Heat kicked in at midnight and was impossible to turn down, WiFi barely worked and downstairs toilet was broken. "Very nice and confortable hotel, and well located. The rooms and the place itself is in a classic british style. Breakfast is very nice and it is cooked on demand, which in my opinion may be a down-side, if you're not willing to spend 45 minutes for the breakfast (which esa my case most of the days as I was in a work stay). "In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state."
