House is Great; Management Co communication very lacking
This house was wonderful for our extended family vacation. It was even great with a 1 year old! Every home has its quirks as does this one but nothing that made the stay an issue. Pool was wonderful and the location is fantastic especially with the private community beach. We love this neighborhood and were so happy to find this house. We had one member who is on oxygen and the layout of this house worked perfectly. Upstairs and downstairs O2 units made it possible to enjoy all the fun no matter which level.
The listing could use some rework as there were amenities we were told did not exist but we discovered upon arrival they actually did. There are beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, toiletries in each bathroom and lots of staples in the kitchen as well.
Unfortunately Grand Welcome management company could use a few lessons on communication and customer service. The ice maker in the refrigerator apparently broke before we arrived but we were not informed until we discovered no ice. When contacted they initially were responsive saying they would provide ice within about an hour. Nearly 3 hours later we received the smallest bag of ice for purchase and we were a party of 7 adults. When asked what their contingency plan was for the lack of ice we were told we will have to purchase it. They did send 4 small ice trays which took 10 hours to fully freeze at a -4 degree setting. When contacted again there was never any respond from the Local Team. Main office was no help.
