« The hotel is very close to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal: very convenient ! It is located opposite to Mega Mall where you can find everything. We were welcomed with a delicious ginger lime cocktail. The staff is extremely kind, very very helpful and smiling which is totally diferent from Singaporean behaviour. The breakfast was delicious, tasty and with a wide variety of products. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely I will visit again. »

« Visited Grand Mercure in 2026, after the refurbishing. The landscaping works at the entrance is still being upgraded, and the entire hotel looks brand new. The team of staff were all efficient and warm, from the reception, concierge, to the Ambrosia Restaurant. They have a convenient shuttle to the mall, with a brand new van. The kueh lapis and grilled sausages at the breakfast buffet were delicious, and the chefs did the grilling on the spot. Will be keen to try the Sup Buntut next time...

« House to small for 5 pax. Book for 5 pax but only get towel and other amenities for 4 pax. Location is great just beside the ferry terminal. »

« Location wise, nothing in Pollux mall except one children indoor playzone. Nothing else. Prepare to travel out. Room, 11th floor wifi not working. Couldnt connect at all. Water tap in the kitchen area seem to turn on itself. Aircon is working fine. Room, 15th floor wifi on and off. Aircon is noisy, seems that have nit been service for awhile. Overall, average for the price i paid. Believe hotel would be more worth it. »

« The room was really dirty, from Toilet,Window , wardrobe and the interior,, it worse than 1 star Hotel. The pool was full of Non-Hotel resident, heard from them they just be there for swimming leason, the pools water was dirty and no towel provided for hotel-Resident. The Lobby, there were no Aircon as well and the restaurant where we had breakfast the menu was limited and very hot as well, it seems the Aircon was not opened Lastly I felt no-safe, the lift can be access by anyone, no need card...

« Had a short stay in Ayola hence did not try out the spa. The room I had was a twin bedded and condition of the room was fine, except that there's no hairdryer in the room. The toilet had a bad sewage smell which fortunately for me, I had some lemongrass essential oil with me, which I had literally poured into the drainage and it helps, had to do daily for the 2 nights. Didn't use the swimming pool but heard from one of the house guest, that the pool needs cleaning. The Restaurant staff are...
